I think Jaws for NES is pretty ok. It's no Mario or Zelda but it isn't terrible.

He really double downed on an uncanny look like the 89 Joker with a touch of Romero's camp and a slight of Ledger's grit. It's great to see a return like this. And yes, I have Jack's Joker to compare faces.

For very good reason mind you, Metriod NES is not exactly a refined game, but he was so pissed about it, it's like he's reviewing one of his other bad NES games.

I think we’re in the endgame of AVGN, a few months ago James said he had six AVGN episodes lined up to be released monthly til December. Since then we’ve had:
Toejam and Earl; with Scott the Woz, a crossover with a creator that took heavy inspiration from James.
Crash Bandicoot games; another crossover, this time with Caddicarus, another creator who has said James was a big inspiration
Bubble Bobble; the return of Kyle Justin after so many years, felt like a final farewell to a beloved character
Batman, Dark Tomorrow; Mike ‘minecwaft’ Matei is back as the Joker, he hasn’t been featured on the channel in many years
It feels like James is having a final send off, featuring desired crossovers and the return of fan favourite characters. Given that this year marks twenty years since he first started uploading to YouTube, there’s a chance we have two more videos and then it’s so long, you fuck.
