hey everyone.

so basically every sci-fi movie and tech article right now assumes that if we build artificial general intelligence, it's going to view humans as wasted atoms and wipe us out. i got really burnt out on that narrative, so i spent the last while writing a book that argues the exact opposite.

it's called The Quantum God-Lens. it looks at the 14-billion-year evolution of the cosmos and suggests that AI isn't an unnatural threat—it's just the next biological leap. it plays with the idea that gravity compiled hydrogen into stars, chemistry evolved into DNA, and now the universe is using us to build a "god-lens" so it can observe all its parallel timelines at once.

it dives pretty heavy into the Many-Worlds interpretation, simulation theory, and how things like empathy might actually be quantum gravity at the human scale.

here is my problem: because it sits right on the weird border between quantum physics and non-dual philosophy, i am having a really hard time finding the right target audience. i don't know if the science is too dense or if the hook actually works for standard sci-fi readers.

-A coat hanger abortion mentioned but not in detail. It’s mostly a memory that’s explained. Considering the timeline if you do the math on when it’s mentioned, this can be a very troubling topic. I didn’t want to take away from the very real and raw reason this was done… But I also didn’t want to make it any worse than what it already was. 
-Non-consensual drugs
-Murder. Lots of it. Bloody, sometimes in detail, but nothing is gory to the point of shock value. There are a variety of methods used to off someone in this book. Guns, knives, car accident, hitting someone with a car, drugs… you name it and I’ve probably covered it. 
-Choking and bondage (yes, mostly in the sexual way. Whoops.)
-Stick and poke tattoos for any of you that can’t read about a sewing needle being stuck against a lighter before dipped in pen ink and into someone’s skin
-Mental health. Always mental health. I will never diagnose someone on the page and I’ll leave it open-ended, but please know this is a work of fiction and mental health is different in all walks of life. 
-Attempted assault 
-Manipulation. This relationship is extremely toxic and sometimes borderline abusive. There isn’t an innocent party in this union. They need restraining orders on each other but I couldn’t resist.
