Please read all our rules in the sidebar!! (if you are on mobile app, click read more in the title section of the sub home page)

We have a strict formatting system for posts on this sub. This will ensure the sub is easy for readers to use so they can find the books they want to read. Posts that are not formatted correctly will be removed. If your post is removed because of formatting, you are encouraged to revisit this post and try again.

Post flairs are mandatory - When selecting a flair, pick the one that best represents your book's genre.

DON'T WORRY IF IT ISN'T YOUR EXACT NICHE GENRE. Pick the genre under which your book's specific niche falls. You'll be adding your more specific niche genre in your title. The flairs just help narrow down the search for our readers. If you don't see your book's genre listed, please message the mods and tell us your genre so we can add it to our system.

Post titles - Format your titles like so: "Book Title & Author - specific niche genre - release month year"

  • EX: "Death In London by Mx Writer - Mystery/Police Procedural - Dec 2024"

Post bodies - COPY THIS and add your information (posts without all of this will be removed)

  • Blurb for the book. This is important! Posts without a blurb will be deleted. You must tell us what the book is about.
  • TRIGGERS!! Posts without a list of potential triggers will automatically be deleted, no exceptions. If your book doesn't have any triggering content, please add the line "Triggers: None" under your blurb. Yes, you must still include the trigger line even if there are no triggers in your story!

Absolutely no downloads from this sub will be tolerated. You're here to build your team not fill the subs with links that could potentially give our readers internet cooties.

Do not include sample chapters in your posts - Posts that are clogged with large samples of the books will be deleted. The same goes for reviews/testimonials.

The publication date must be at least 2 weeks from time of posting. If you are looking for reviews for published books, use the monthly sticky post for authors. ARCs are advanced copies, no 'my book is free on Amazon, please review it' posts will be allowed.

Our shame is the future. Hers is her past. She'll have to face both to protect them.

In the ruined, overgrown skeleton of the old world, survival means never looking back. Emory has lived by this rule for eight years, gleaning ruins and fighting ash creatures—horrific monsters birthed from human sorrow and trauma. She walks alone, carrying a secret that destroyed her home and haunts her every step.

When she saves a group of travelers from a deadly ambush, Emory reluctantly agrees to guide them north to the mythical Walled Meadow. Among them are a fierce mother protecting her young son, a lovelorn bomb-maker, and Mel, a fiery survivor who refuses to let Emory push her away. As they battle ash creatures, floods, and desperate killers, Emory realizes she is terrified of losing them. But her past and her secrets are putting them in more danger than anything else this deadly world can throw at them. To protect the family she never thought she’d have, Emory must finally stop running and face the monster born from her own soul.

Non-Fiction The Quantum God-Lens by Hossein Zare - Philosophical Sci-Fi / Futurism - Nov 2026

Post image

hey everyone.

so basically every sci-fi movie and tech article right now assumes that if we build artificial general intelligence, it's going to view humans as wasted atoms and wipe us out. i got really burnt out on that narrative, so i spent the last while writing a book that argues the exact opposite.

it's called The Quantum God-Lens. it looks at the 14-billion-year evolution of the cosmos and suggests that AI isn't an unnatural threat—it's just the next biological leap. it plays with the idea that gravity compiled hydrogen into stars, chemistry evolved into DNA, and now the universe is using us to build a "god-lens" so it can observe all its parallel timelines at once.

it dives pretty heavy into the Many-Worlds interpretation, simulation theory, and how things like empathy might actually be quantum gravity at the human scale.

here is my problem: because it sits right on the weird border between quantum physics and non-dual philosophy, i am having a really hard time finding the right target audience. i don't know if the science is too dense or if the hook actually works for standard sci-fi readers.

if you are into this kind of stuff (think Carlo Rovelli meets simulation theory), i'd love your help.

i put the amazon link below. please don't buy it—i just want people to read the free "Look Inside" sample and tell me if the first chapter actually grabs you.

You can request a digital ARC (ePub or PDF) directly through my website here:

https://hossein.middledevs.com

thanks for reading, would love to hear what this community thinks of the baseline theory.

Adult - Contemporary Fiction Barb Smith v1.2.6 - Contemporary fiction (Speculative/Dystopian/Sci-fi) - December 2026

Post image
1 Upvotes

"Genetic engineering tinkers with the wrong soul."

There are many versions of ourselves. Barb Smith is about to discover the one she never imagined. One in a world almost familiar – but now not so much, with the continued roll-out of the android-administered National Gated Suburbia (NGS) transit stations that separate wealthy gated communities from the rest.

One where the humble clothesline is an ancient underground symbol of defiance, a brilliant Data moko–wearing leader watches from the shadows of an underground collective known as Obscurus, and Hermann Hesse’s The Glass Bead Game has been brought to life as Brutal Ludi—a high-intellect coding sport played with the violence of pro-wrestling. It's also a world that sees Barb's beloved hometown, Currander River, chillingly renamed as Willington Downs Canal - CBS24008, her family dramatically split, her life threatened, and her only escape made possible by the family's devoted domestic android robot named Neville.

___________________________________________________________________________________

Barb Smith v1.2.6 is meditative, imaginative, and gentle, but at the same time, with the issues it explores in regard to how we may live centuries from now, also a funny, dynamic,
page-turning novel.

Triggers: Profanities, sexual identity, internalised identity crisis, combat violence (terrorism), displacement.

Exact date of publication: 14 December 2026

The date you plan to send your ARCs to your team:

  • Early-November: Your secure digital copy (EPUB or PDF) will be distributed straight to your email inbox.
  • 21-Day Reading Window: You will have a full three weeks to read and enjoy the book.

The date you expect your ARC team to finish the reading and submit their reviews by:

1 December

Adult - Fantasy The Ghost's Truth by Casey Macduff - Adult Fantasy - December 2026

The Ghost's Truth is what happens when a cozy swords-and-sorcery Hallmark movie deconstructs into an apocalyptic cosmic horror, and then broadens further into a high fantasy adventure.

The infinite realms of Halbron are Beautiful and Terrible and Strange.

One such realm—a harsh, frozen place by the name of Spiramoote—is facing its doom. Perhaps if there was a hero among its citizens, Spiramoote’s fate could be changed. Instead, its tragic tale is centered around Si’Lanci Gnell, reclusive owner of the local soup shop with an infamous reputation. Deemed ‘too soft for Halbron’, Lanci is a simple mortal woman who has never held a weapon and faints at the sight of blood. Content with her life of solitude in the mountains, she dreams not of romance or glory, but of soup and her beloved pet geese.

But when Lanci’s brother is struck by a lust to explore Halbron’s faraway realms, trouble comes to their boring little home. Desperate to restore peace to her fractured family, Lanci forms an unlikely alliance with Vamiro Kunhema, Spiramoote’s newly appointed magical protector who can’t stand pain, cold weather, or being sober. Together, Lanci and Vam must overcome the trials of a drunken ghost, a portal door that never opens to the same place twice, and, worst of all, their own crippling insecurities.

All the while, the doom of Spiramoote watches and waits. Taulslocke the Bonebark Devourer, a tree demon with an appetite for human flesh and bone, ravages the realm in the course of a single night. In his wake, he leaves a Last Survivor and an walk into his mouth, or live in despair under his rapidly growing shadow.

  • TRIGGERS: violence, death, language, sex (not smut but not closed door either)
  • Exact date of publication: December 21st, 2026
  • ARC period underway; ARC copies available on request

THE LUCIA SITUATION: A Christmas Novella

Lucas loves Christmas. Susanna really doesn’t.

Susanna Marino didn’t come to Stockholm for the snow. After losing her grandmother, and the Sicilian bakery she’d always dreamed of running, she has one plan for December: work her shifts, keep her head down, and pretend Christmas doesn’t exist.

But then a snowball, thrown by a midfielder from the North Stars, hits her square in the face.

Lucas Nyström isn’t sure about much right now, least of all his football career. But he’s sure about two things: he loves Christmas, and he’s very sorry. Sorry enough to turn up at her bakery every morning at ten.

Then a last-minute emergency on St. Lucia’s Day lands the crown of candles on Susanna’s head. (Fair enough, really. The original Lucia was Sicilian.) Afterward, Lucas makes her a deal: three Swedish Christmas traditions before Christmas Eve. If she still hates the holidays after that, he’ll leave her alone.

He’s got glögg and gingerbread, and an entire football team in his corner. She’s got absolutely no intention of opening her heart.

But Lucia is meant to bring light to the darkest time of the year, and nobody warned Susanna it might work on her too.

A cozy Christmas romance full of snow and found family, set in the world of Stockholm’s North Stars.

☃️ Snowball-to-the-face meet-cute

❄️ A snowy Stockholm Christmas

⚽ Christmas-loving footballer × Christmas-hating Sicilian baker

🐈‍⬛ Black cat × golden retriever 🐕

Adult - Fantasy The Fourth Field by Marin T. Kael - Epic Fantasy/Political Fantasy - Nov 2026

Blurb: In Varin, words are reality. Every Edict, a law sealed by Crown, Guilds and Coffer, can build roads, steer markets, strengthen armies. But the power of the seals is breaking: Fractures tear through the city, stairways forget their weight, voices echo without mouths. When a forbidden Free Edict destroys a harbor district, the young scribe Arin finds himself caught between intrigue and rebellion. Queen Maev fights for every word that might preserve order, while guilds and merchants play their own games. Yet between the official seals appears a grey imprint, flawless and uncanny, the sign of an invisible power far beyond Varin's borders.

Slow burn, political, more chancery than battlefield. Book one of the Cycle of Script.

  • Blurb for the book. In Aurelia, being born without the Meredial gene means you don’t matter.

Sixteen-year-old Bobby is Fallow, born without the gene that grants Averals their privilege and, for a rare few, extraordinary powers. At Northwall Academy, he has one rule for survival: remain invisible.

Raven has the opposite problem. She is Averal, gifted with the ability to read what people want and how they feel. She’s spent her life trying to escape the very identity Bobby has been taught makes her superior.

Then Northwall students come under attack, and Bobby can’t stay invisible anymore.

The Council insists an outside enemy is responsible. Bobby, Raven, and their friends aren’t so sure, especially when Bobby begins having visions no Fallow should be capable of having. The deeper they dig, the harder it becomes to believe the Council's version of events.

In a society built on the certainty that power belongs to the right bloodlines, what if the most dangerous secret is Bobby himself?

And how far will those in power go to keep the truth buried?

"Triggers: None" under your blurb.

To make matters worse, the resurfacing of an old rival tasked with finding Ivan threatens to not only destroy her investigation, but also to reveal the secret of her newly-found identity, a fact which could easily end in US Government custody- or worse.

With the time to save Kit rapidly diminishing, it becomes clear that there are more forces at play than just insider threats and international human trafficking rings.

Adult - Fantasy Forbidden Glass by Jay D. Anderson - Cozy Fantasy - Dec 2026

Hi all — I'm Jay, indie author with my debut novel. Looking for ARC readers for my cozy fantasy, out December 8.

https://imgur.com/a/6Gz1SqK

Goblin glass never lies. Neither can the elf learning to make it.

Cael came to Korrvik with a mission, a hood, and a country that no longer exists. The elvish halls sent him to learn how the goblin glassmakers of Drovnik put a maker's true intention into glass, the craft that keeps an empire safe and that no elf is allowed to touch. By the time word reached him that his people had come apart, he was already behind a shop counter on Nettleway, wrapping decanters and keeping his ears covered.

Then Kazmir, the shop's master gaffer, nearly dies at the furnace, and Cael catches him without thinking. The glass rings. Cael has just done the one thing he was sent to steal and was never supposed to be able to do. Kazmir saw all of it. Instead of turning him in, he hands him a pipe.

Now Cael has a craft to learn, a retired orc patrolman who treats honesty as a courtesy, a delivery boy who is always right a little before anyone else, a salamander living in the furnace who is technically just a nuisance, and an apothecary down the street named Rinn, who keeps her notes in neat columns and whose compounds only hold in Kazmir's glass. For the first time since he left home, there is something he wants to keep.

But an elf teaching in a goblin shop is a crime for both of them, and someone from his old life has come looking. Sooner or later, Cael will have to decide what he owes the people who sent him, and what he owes the ones who took him in.

Forbidden Glass is a slow-burn cozy fantasy about found family, honest work, and the cost of telling the truth to people who have given you everything. Book one of The True Glass.

Blurb for the book:

Softness gets people killed. Azhra learned that before the contract that cost her an eye.

But when an assassination job goes wrong, she flees into the wilderness wounded, half-blind, and clinging to the only thing she has left: her mother’s lullaby.

The wizard Ithráin finds her and offers the one thing Azhra fears more than violence: kindness.

Under his care, she becomes his apprentice and begins building a life she never expected to have. Then a magical vault is breached. Something ancient is stolen and something far more dangerous binds itself to her.

Azhra has spent her entire life trusting the instincts that kept her alive.

Now she must decide whether those instincts are worth dying for.

A Lullaby of Thieves and Tea is book one in the Of Sand and Silver saga, a cozy-but-dangerous adventure of found family, cursed artifacts, and a feral girl discovering that survival and living are not the same thing.

A Lullaby of Thieves and Tea is the first book in Of Sand and Silver, a high fantasy saga featuring found family, an unlikely mentor-apprentice relationship, dangerous magic, ancient mysteries, clockwork technology, and plenty of tea.

The story balances cozy, character-driven moments with dangerous adventures in a world of strange cultures, magical creatures, and forgotten histories.

TRIGGERS!!

No explicit or graphic sexual content or violence. But fantasy violence, assassination and murder, blood and injuries, childhood trauma, exploitation of a minor, and death.

A little note from the author:

Hi, everyone! I'm Lucian T. Einar, an indie fantasy author, and I'm still welcoming readers to my ARC team!

This novel started as a web serial on Royal Road, where I spent years writing, revising, and gathering reader feedback. The upcoming published edition has gone through extensive editing, and my existing ARC readers have already helped me catch errors and improve several passages.

You don't need to be an experienced ARC reviewer or have a huge social media following. If you enjoy fantasy and would like to give the book a chance, you're welcome to apply!

Honest reviews are appreciated. Reviews can be shared on Goodreads, Amazon (after release), book blogs, or your preferred review platform. Please disclose that you received a complimentary ARC.

Thank you for considering my book and for supporting independent authors!

Adult - Mystery Hadrian's Coming, Looky Busy, by Thea Allen - Historical Mystery - Dec 2026

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi folks!

I'm looking for ARC readers interested in humorous historical mysteries set in the ancient era (Roman Britain) for my new novel, Hadrian's Coming, Look Busy.

What do you do if your peace is shattered by a murder spree and a gossip-obsessed historian?

All Laelius Calvus wants to do in life is to make glass, drink beer and eat stolen cheese. When his brother-in-law's brother arrives in the full military regalia of a Praetorian Guard tribune and threatens to haul Calvus back to Rome and lucrative employment, Calvus tells him in no uncertain terms to sod off. Glorious, stylus-pushing desk jobs with the most prolific historian of the age are not his style.

His dreams of solitude and anonymity are over once bodies start appearing in the creeks around him. Everyone, from questionable merchants to arguably the most powerful man that Calvus will ever meet, all believe that he is uniquely qualified to solve these murders. Can he keep everybody off his back or will he be dragged away home, leaving friends and business partners in the lurch or worse... killed?

About the Series

The Laelius Calvus Mysteries are a series of standalone mysteries with the same protagonist/amateur sleuth, set in Roman Britain during the reign of Hadrian. It is not necessary to have read the first book in the series (Move Over, Minerva) in order to understand or follow the story in this book. Some minor spoiler references to the events of the first book are made within this book, however no major spoilers are included, so the first book may be subsequently read later and still enjoyed.

Tone of the Books

The Laelius Calvus Mysteries are humorous, almost-cosy historical mysteries that use modern, conversational English whilst adhering as closely as possible to historic settings, cultures and customs. They are intended to be plausible but improbable mysteries that are fun to read for both those who are familiar with ancient Rome and those who are completely new to its history.

  • Triggers: Mild depicted violence, off-screen murder, brief mention of suicide
  • Exact date of publication: 3 December 2026
  • ARC available now through BookSprout until 24 November 2026
  • Reviews due 17 December 2026

Planet Earth had been known by many names before.
This might be the first time he’d be called a husband.

Earth is alive. A brooding man in a black overcoat with an MP3 full of alt-rock and a curse he believes is poisoning his thoughts and shaping humanity’s darkest actions. He loves all things human, but he never expected to experience the most human feeling of all: falling in love.

Since the dawn of creation, humanity has been tearing itself apart. Now, it’s also invading other planets, causing Earth to be denounced and condemned to exile beyond the Solar System. But he is offered two choices: be forced to wed or watch his creations die with him.

His arranged bride is a golden planet of light from another galaxy—Astrea, Earth’s utter opposite. Her world is everything his is not. But Earth believes he’s cursed, and he refuses to let Astrea’s nature change because of him, even if marrying her could save his creation.

Searching for answers, the two will travel across the cosmos, facing challenges that threaten their worlds and test everything they believe about themselves. And unless Earth discovers what lies behind his darkness, he will have to surrender to the fate the cosmos has already chosen for him. Marriage. Or exile.

Adult - Fantasy Red Demon [Audiobook] by Sill Bihagia - Adult SFF, romantic subplot - Nov 2026

Blurb:

The lone survivor of a massacre. The genetically enhanced immortal who spared only him.

On an isolated planet where unity is as engineered as its people, two human lines nearly drove each other to extinction rather than acknowledge their shared humanity. The empire that maintained peace for the last century cannot afford to show the cracks in its control. But when Jesse's mining town is slaughtered under mysterious circumstances, it's clear ancient bigotries linger, and rebels now have access to magic or tech capable of wide-scale genocide. But Jesse only sees the Red Demon fleeing the scene of the crime, a bio-engineered immortal who should protect the empire instead of killing her own kin. Lost and alone, Jesse sets out on a path for justice that will bring him face to face with both his misconceptions—and new enemies.

Faruhar, the so-called Red Demon, is not the mastermind Jesse expects. Guilt ravages her fragmented mind over crimes she cannot remember committing, and a code impressed on her by a few kind people she cannot forget. And when she and Jesse face off, hatred quickly turns to hesitation, as they together uncover a mystery that might unravel their world’s fragile peace.

A twisty science fantasy with tense fight scenes and a spicy romantic subplot.

The lead sends Ava to Salvation, Washington, where the small, pious community seems to hide something sinister beneath the surface. With no proof and no safety net, Ava goes undercover, intent on joining the cult she’s investigating.

As she infiltrates the group, Ava meets Chase Matthews, the cult leader’s charming son. He’s young, handsome, devoted, and convinced God sent Ava — for him.

As Chase’s interest in Ava grows, she sees the perfect opportunity to use him to expose the cult’s sins. What begins as calculated manipulation blurs into something more complicated as Ava gets pulled deeper into the cult and closer to Chase.

Adult - Fantasy The Fourth Field by Marin T. Kael - Epic Fantasy/Political Fantasy - Nov 2026

Blurb:

In Varin, words are reality.

Every Edict, a law sealed by Crown, Guilds, and Coffer, can build roads, steer markets, strengthen armies.

Yet between the official seals appears a grey imprint, flawless, uncanny, a sign of an invisible power that has already reached far beyond Varin's borders.

The Fourth Field is my debut and the first book of the saga Imprints of the Realm. Slow burn, political, more chancery than battlefield. 234 pages, with a map and a list of characters.
