Hello, my name is Nada. I’m 18 years old and from Gaza.

My family and I have lived through many wars, but this one has been the hardest we have ever experienced. We lost our home and everything we owned, my father lost his job, and I have also lost many friends and relatives.

After losing our home and being displaced many times, we ended up staying with relatives in a small room made of metal sheets. All of us live together in this one room: my siblings, my mother, my father, my disabled grandmother, and me.

Our lives have become a daily struggle to provide even the most basic necessities, such as food and water. What hurts me most is watching my younger siblings ask my father for simple things that every child needs, like new clothes and shoes, or a school bag and pencils, while he is unable to provide them.

Life here is extremely difficult. With the ongoing blockade, rising prices, and shortages of basic necessities, providing even the simplest things has become a daily challenge, especially since my father lost his job and our family no longer has a source of income.

I am asking for your help so that we can provide food, water, clothing, and school supplies for my family and my younger siblings. Any donation, no matter how small, can make a difference and help ease some of the hardship we are going through.

If you are unable to donate, sharing my story may help it reach someone who can.

Some people have accused me of being a scammer and claimed that the photos I share of my family are generated by AI. Those accusations are painful, especially when I am trying to share what my family is experiencing.
I understand that people need to be careful when donating online. I am not asking anyone to trust me blindly. I am asking you to look at the information available, visit my older Tumblr post, and give me a fair chance to tell my story.
My family and I have dreams, just like every other family in the world. We want safety, food, clean water, shelter, and the opportunity to live with dignity. The circumstances we face in Gaza have made even our most basic needs difficult.
I will continue sharing my daily life and experiences on Tumblr so people can learn more about our situation beyond a single photograph or a comment on Reddit.

I'm a young woman from Gaza, Palestine, and I'm hoping to get some advice about something that could make a real difference in my future.

I graduated with a bachelor's degree and achieved the highest GPA in my major at my university. Despite the difficult circumstances I've been living through, I haven't given up on my dream of continuing my education and pursuing a fully funded master's degree abroad.

I want to enroll at the Oxford English Language Center here in Gaza to improve my English and prepare for future scholarship applications.

Each level takes approximately three months and costs around $500, including books. I'm not yet sure how many levels I'll need to complete, as this depends on my current level and the English proficiency requirements of the scholarships I hope to apply for.

Unfortunately, I cannot afford these fees on my own, so I've been considering starting a fundraising campaign. However, I have two problems.

First, I don't know how to create a fundraising campaign, which platforms I can use from Gaza, or whether someone abroad could help me set one up.

Second, my father is uncomfortable with the idea of creating a public campaign because he is concerned about my face and personal photos appearing online. I respect his concerns, so I'm looking for a way to seek support without having to share my face publicly.

I'd really appreciate advice on alternative ways to fund my English classes, such as educational grants, sponsorships, donations made directly to the language center, or finding someone trustworthy who could help me organize a fundraising campaign without publicly revealing my identity.

I'm willing to provide evidence to verify my academic achievements and the cost of the courses, including my degree certificate, academic transcript, and information about the center's fees. I want to be transparent and give anyone considering helping me a way to verify the details.

I'm trying to find a realistic way to invest in my education, improve my opportunities, and work toward a future where I can continue studying and build a career.

Just looked at this thread and I have no idea if the person is a bot or not but regardless some of the comments are clearly from people who dont belong in this sub.

This sub has been something of a haven for verified Palestinian folks in recent times and these kinds of comments CANNOT be allowed.

I want to share something that happened to me recently.
A person from Australia named Blake reached out to me because he wanted to support my family.
But after he saw some of the negative comments under my posts, where people accused me of being a scammer and claimed that the photos of my family were created with AI, he became understandably cautious.
Blake asked me to do something simple to help him know that there was a real person behind this account.
He asked me to draw a smiling face on paper, write his name on it, and show it to him.
I did exactly that.
After that, we talked together. We had a real conversation, and he got to know me and learn about my family and our situation.
I am sharing the video of that moment here for the people who have accused me of using AI.
Does this help show you that there is a real person behind this account and that these are real people and a real family?
I know people have the right to be careful online. I don’t blame anyone for asking questions. But please remember that behind this account is a real family living through an extremely difficult situation.
Blake also told me that he wants to help by setting up a fundraising campaign for my family. He has already sent support through Binance.
There is still a human side to this world.
