Have you ever had something in your pocket which is similar in weight/shape as your keys/wallet/phone?

Similar no.

But when I put more things in or put stuff into wrong pockets in a rush it doesn't feel right and I do rearrange it after the pat down.

So the pat down has never failed you. I’m jealous.

I’ve went outside the house with an Apple TV remote in my pocket. And then had to climb back through a window.

Monkey brain got a request for use of my right hand, so monkey brain auto stored the remote in my pocket.

Money brain can also drive a car by itself. It can do all kinds of things. But monkey brain isn’t very smart.

So if I’m in a higher dimension; monkey brain takes over the wheel of my entire body; things get lost; clothing gets dirty.

That’s how I describe my adhd. Monkey stuff

Fair description. I usually tell people I have several internal monologs at the same time, and not in a conversation with each other, only with me, speaking over each other.

Lets call all the internal monologues "threads". Cause they can get tangled up. Roll up in a ball and get stuck under the couch for years.

As a programmer, I agree with the term "threads"

In Dutch we say we lost the thread, if we mean lost the train of our thoughts. ( de draad kwijt zijn ).

The word thread is connected to mental thread in Dutch.

We say "den roten Faden verlieren" in german ("losing the read thread" literally)
