It really doesn't feel like it's been a year since the 1 year anniversary announcement of our community here at r/ACForAdults & we couldn't be more thankful to all of you reading this for what you've done for the community here.

Because of the continuous activity & support of this subreddit we've seen:

• Our community welcome in nearly 40000 members in the past year & showing we have a place for the long run in the Animal Crossing fanbase. 📚

• A huge wave of new & returning Animal Crossing players in our community thanks to New Horizons' 3.0 update. 🎈

• New community events being discussed & created, alongside the return of some older, but enjoyable ones. 🍃

• Even more channels, roles & events in our Discord server. 🧸

• A wide array of personal in-game achievements, uniquely creative designs & countless funny moments being shared. 😊

All of this is only possible because of the continuous support so many of you reading this have given to r/ACForAdults & it truly is appreciated by our whole team. 🩵

With all this being said, our team members across both the subreddit & our Discord server have been spending some time lately discussing a few different things & we believe the 2 year anniversary of r/ACForAdults is the perfect chance to announce the following:

• We are pleased to let you all know that we'll be opening applications to join our subreddit mod team for r/ACForAdults! 🌱

We'll be looking to add some active members of our community who'd like to contribute to the day to day running of the community by doing things such as dealing with our mod queue, responding to modmails, taking part in discussions & taking part in hosting events for the community.

• Alongside opening up applications on the subreddit, our team are also going to be opening up applications to join our Discord mod team, alongside reintroducing a role to our Discord, known as the 'Event Team'. ✨

Hey there everyone, we have a little update for you all regarding the previous announcement. As you may have seen, we are opening applications to become a moderator of r/ACForAdults. We wanted to make a separate post to go more in depth on the expectations and responsibilities of being a moderator. If you have been active in the community for a while, this may be a good opportunity for you to be part of the team!

Skills we are looking for:

• Someone who has been active in the community for an extended period of time
• Ability to communicate well with the mod team, and other subreddit members
• Interest in collaborating with the team
• Interest in running community events/posting announcements
• Willingness to work with backend tasks (E.g. modmail/mod queue, Etc)
• Someone who is passionate about Animal Crossing

Moderator Responsibilities:

There is a pretty involved process behind running any subreddit, and it takes time to learn everything. But for now, here are a few things you can expect as being part of the team:

• Answering modmail
• Checking the mod queue
• Host community events
• Post announcements
• Facilitate positive communication interactions
• Uphold the rules of r/ACForAdults
• And yes, sometimes posts removals and bans are needed

i wanted to add mods to new leaf (got them from game banana, put the romfs inside luma/plugins/0004000000198F00 and patching is enabled but its still not in my game. did i do it wrong?
