Spotted this at my local Ross. Didn't know this existed until today.

Now I'd say the head sculpt could use some improvement. It's not bad. Showed my grandpa and he said something like "isn't he as white as a sheet?" And after looking at photos of Angus from that area I agree with him. You all can also see the box has seen some stuff. Still hanging onto it regardless so I have a spot to put his accessories and put him for storage when the time comes.

Edit: I’d also like to point out his face can look real wack from the top and sides.

The clothes are fabric and could use some work. Loose strings and it looks a bit big. Not to mention the tie is glued together plus the crushed velvet of his outfit sheds.[photo 12] It's also of note his pants have also stained his thighs. [Photo 11]

His shoes do have holes on the bottom for a stand. however he doesn't come with one. He also comes with a set of pointing hands [photo 6], an extra head [shown in both photos 6 & 13], a guitar [photos 13 & 14], and a hat without horns [photo 9]. And no, you can't put the hat on the spare head, the sculpt won't allow it. [photo 14]

The detail on the guitar is pretty nice and the strap can be removed. But i recommend being carful and gentle as you do so, its made of a soft PVC or plastic that will most likely snap with enough force. Also mine does have some sticky residue on it from the tape.

Articulation is pretty solid, however I wished he had better ankle articulation and his knees where double jointed; along with having a toe joint. I’d also like to point out his head pops off real easy and his arms can’t really move outward very well (I’m talking about how you would spread your arms for a T-pose). Might just be an issue in my Angus though. I'm also questioning why gave him muscles [Photo 10] and abs [photo 15]. Did they think we wouldn't notice? And yes I know his hips look weird [photo 16] but its hidden under the clothes plus it allows for some nice movement.

Gonna try to figure out how to pose him like he's duck walking (or whatever its called) like he does on stage and stick him on one of my shelves.

(edit: added more photo references and corrected spelling. as well as the joint issue notes.)

There goes the wallet! 😆

So my shower thought of the day was thinking about the second verse and something always confused me…. The lyrics go:

Singles bar, got my eye on a honey
Hanging out everywhere
She might be straight
She want my money
I really don’t care

What does he mean by “might be straight” in this scenario? Did it have a different meaning in the 70s? The way it’s phrased, it’s like he’s saying straight is a bad thing, or is he just saying “not sure if she even likes guys but I’m gonna shoot my shot”?

Pretty much explains it, just crossed my mind thats all

Basically as the title says, I have a foil AC/DC concert poster from their MetLife Stadium date a few weeks ago. I literally don’t know anything about framing or foil concert posters (this is my first one) so I’m just trying to get some opinions if that’s worth getting professionally done. Michaels quoted me $150-$200. I paid $70 for the poster but it is numbered out of 100 so I’m thinking value might be higher in the future (I have no intent on ever selling it unless I’m desperate for $).

Any opinions would be appreciated. Thank you

I remember back when Razors Edge came out, the radio and MTV played the ever loving fuck out of this song. I was actually getting sick of it. Still, it’s one of their most popular songs and I’m surprised that they haven’t played it live since the end of the Razors Edge tour.

I purchased the Philly concert shirt at the pop up shop there and wore it once. I've washed it twice, hanging to dry. The collar is starting to come apart at the seams in about an inch in the front. Is anyone else having a problem like this with official shirts?

I attended this concert back in July and I really wanted a recording or concert DVD for this. I wasn't sure/very doubtful there would be an official video released so I did some digging. I browsed youtube and I found that there were a lot of people who recorded this night so I knew making a full multiple angle "Pro Concert DVD" was possible. I downloaded a bunch of clips and put them all together in Adobe Premiere and I was able to make a great looking concert. There are multiple angles and I cut away from different shots if they were too shaky, or if someone was blocking the view. If anyone wasn't able to see them for this tour, I hope this gives you the joy it gave me to be there.

We will see how these go to see if they become a monthly thing here?

2. Only 1 track recorded by AC/DC has a writing credit that is not Young/Young, Scott/Young/Young, or Johnson/Young/Young... what is it? (order is not important) This does not include cover songs.

Love AC/DC so much. But Phil has always come across as so miserable to be around. He has such a laughable “tough guy” persona that he doesn’t even remotely pull off in any way. Honestly just a total vibe kill.

Am I wrong?

ACDC did another 3 concerts. The opening track for the first one was Thunderstruck, but Angus from rock or bust (brown hair) was playing it bad, and next to chris chaney there was another member with another mic, he was a sort of pop star but he played with ACDC all 3 dates. Very strange dream

Hay gente que fue al concierto de river plate en 2009 en este grupo?

y si esta, que cuente su experiencia en el concierto y cual fue la cancion que mas disfrutaron

I've looked around and never been able to find it. Unsatisfied with the sounds they were getting, they left the Paris studio and brought the mobile studio into a "stone room at Quai de Bercy". Multiple books reference this as a 'warehouse outside of Paris'. Not sure what to believe. This is where Mutt set up a full scale PA, and played the snare back through the PA, and actually mic'd the PA, in order to record that thunderous snare sound. But is the address known and if so, does the stone space or warehouse still stand ?
