Video/Stream The Fun Pimps join Behaviour Interactive
The Fun Pimps join Behaviour Interactive, as posted on their YouTube channel. We will see what this means for the future of 7D2D and TFP as a whole.
Edit: It's confirmed to have been an acquisition by Behaviour, not a merger. Source: https://www.gamesindustry.biz/dead-by-daylight-maker-behaviour-has-bought-the-studio-behind-7-days-to-die-to-create-a-portfolio-of-horror-ip
Edit 2: TimRaines shared this link down below. It goes over an FAQ which is handy to read. For example, they have no plans to step away from modding support. Source: https://www.bhvr.com/the-fun-pimps-a-new-chapter-for-7-days-to-die/

PC Recog Rework
Hello everyone! :)
I just published a small visual rework mod for Recog. The default model always bothered me because it has a bottle icon in the UI but looks like a bottle of pills. Since I use Recog all the time, it annoyed me enough that I decided to model a proper replacement myself.
This is my second mod for the game. First one was the Mega Crush rework. You can check both of them in my Nexus Mods page.
I hope you like it, and I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments! <3

PC Undead Legacy Question
Started my first undead legacy play through. I’m around day 16 at this point. In need of glue/duct tape. In order to research/learn it I need “chemistry research”. I have found loads of all of the other research data, but I have never come across chemistry data. We are on earth do I find this?

PC Can I safely build underneath a preexisting building?
My brother and I are using the fire station as our base. We are currently in the process of getting the structural support added on, but I have a question about building underneath this base. If we secure the base properly and enough, would that be enough to stop the underground portion from collapsing the entire structure? What would we need to do to the underground portion to make it more structurally sound? Would we need to dig to a certain depth to ensure that it doesn't make our base collapse? Thank you in advance!

PS5 7 days, a camping adventure, with so much Sham...
There are few games I’ve loved as much as 7d2d. I’ve played on my own and with a group of friends, and it’s still the happy place my husband and I retreat to in the evenings. We’ve clocked hundreds of hours and still find something to enjoy every time.
We’ve been talking about a 7d2d themed hike/camping trip for a couple of years. With winter looming on the east coast, it felt like now or never, so we planned a route, loaded up our (too heavy, it turns out) packs, and set out into the woods, just the two of us.
Because we're both a little extra, we came up with secret schemes and packed in-game items. Since weight was a concern, I didn't want to bring much that was purely gimmick, so I focused on things we could actually consume. Jerky took the place of charred meat (with a little extra liquid smoke). Handwarmers stood in for torches, and Bit-O-Honey cured any infections. I brought flavored drink powders for the red tea and made my own powdered blend for the blackstrap coffee. I also made Sham Sandwiches for us to “find” for lunch, complete with fake mold spots courtesy of matcha powder. The murky water was a green energy drink powder that already tastes a little dodgy, with chia seeds added for an unusual texture.
I also wanted to lightly gamify the hike without letting it take over the whole adventure (I struggle with this, for every event and party I’ve ever planned). I finally settled on a deck of “loot” cards. Either of us could choose to search buildings, tree stumps, what have you, then roll a die: a 1 got you nothing, 2-3 got one card, 4-5 got two, and a 6 got three. I added some photo challenge cards too (“Gather wood: go punch a tree”). In total I had about 30 cards, split between the two days.
Many of the loot cards were junk that would just clog your inventory, the kind you’d dump to make room for better stuff. But some matched real items I’d packed. I made in-game labels for a lot of them, like the Meow Chow cat food, Rockbusters candy, and more.
By the time we reached our campsite, we’d acquired actual health bars, Eye Kandy, murky water, charred meat, some magazines, Grandpa’s Awesome Sauce, and plenty of junk cards, like springs and 6k stone. My husband had packed “painkillers” and “antibiotics” in labeled Pop’n’Pills bottles, plus a can of corn for the dinner of campfire Sham Chowder.
In the end, it was a really unique adventure. We learned how to filter water, how not to pack too much, and what our physical limits were (maybe don’t start by trying to climb a mountain?). We also soaked in the amazing autumn colors, and got a little closer to the experience of a game we love by reading skill magazines by the campfire, enjoying some shockingly good eggs and sham for breakfast, and watching for the next likely spot to loot.
One of my favorite moments was hearing a plane go overhead, when my husband said, “Ugh, imagine if we get to that supply drop and there’s a frigging potato in it.” He had no idea I’d packed a single potato for just such a purpose.
We also started a journal that we hope to continue on our next 7d2d trek. If you have ideas for what we should add next time, let me know!
And hey, Fun Pimps, want to do a cookbook collab? 😏

Help DLX weapons fix alpha 21
I want to play alpha 21 (i like the book progression system but also want to keep the old armor system) but the ironsights are buns, and i want to fix them with the mod, but on the DLX mod site there is only a version for the 1.0 release. Can someone provide me with a link to the a21 version, or tell me if it's even possible? Thanks

PC Here's a drone for you! Drop bombs on the zombies for me.
nexusmods.comI figured why not?
Ever wanted to fly a drone over a horde and drop a pipe bomb right in the middle of it? Now you can. Craft a drone, launch it from your hands and fly it from the drone's camera. Find a group of zombies, line it up and drop whatever explosives you've got in your backpack. Pipe bombs, grenades, molotovs, dynamite, timed charges, etc

PS5 Had my first Bandits experience
Day 32. I was in my world and forgot it was on multi-player settings because no one had ever joined the world before. I instictively keep all storage containers locked because I have seen the horror post here before...
What I did not prepare for was the little griefer to steal the dew collector being built at the work bench. My cooking pot, cooking grill, beaker, crucible, and anvil...
I spent pretty heavy in agility so killing the little twat repeatedly was like watch my cat fuck with a mouse over and over again.
I remember being excited to look a new player. In my mind i was like look at my beautiful workshop. Built on top of a working stilff warehpuse next to trader rekt. Then as she started punching me i kept saying. He buddy stop or I am going to shoot. Long story i tried to make several negotiations but was forced to shoot everytime. It wasn't until after they left that I realized they had been in my base for a few minutes uninterrupted. I now understood the need to keep your work spaces walled off and locked up.
Great experience with bandits totally were not aimbots. Definitely set me back 2 days in prep as I now had to readjust my work shop. Leaving me very little time to finish setting up new horde base in desert biome before horde night. Seems like the developers got exactly what they were looking for with the bandits 😂
