Cool book.

Came across this the other day, it was the first comic I ever bought when I was 10. I had immediate flashback to when I pushed nails through the toes of my shoes and was transformed into the Tarantula! Then I got transformed into crying kid after parental correction was applied 😂 Seller worked with me after I shared story so the reminiscence wasn’t too costly. Geeked to have this touchstone to my youth.

I waited. I know have read most of the stories. I know I own some of the later Tales of Suspense. But having so much of the early stuff in one volume wore me down. It's true. I'm weak. Comic Books are my Kryptonite ✨

Ran across this and instantly grabbed it for my Invaders run.

I was six. I've had a soft spot for the Sandman ever since.

Mail call...been waiting for this collection for a while. It includes his early appearances in Fantastic Four and Thor.

Cool book.

I did more online buying this month rather than just local pick shopping. But, I was able to snag one 70's era Marvel book locally, which is Marvel Super-Heroes #38, which reprints Tales to Astonish #83. Which I snagged for $3 from a straight up Book shop rather than a comic or collectibles shop.

The remaining comics were eBay grabs. Was looking for a copy of Iron Man #29 in the best condition at the price I was willing to pay for. Most cheap copies were lower grades, but finding a decent mid grade copy at just slightly under $20 was a bit of a task, thankfully someone was selling a decent mid grade at slightly under $20.Couldn't be happier. The other three were a three issue comic lot. Originally all priced at $15, but the seller decided to drop it to just $12, so I purchased 'em. Mainly wanted Night Rider #2, which is a reprint of Ghost Rider #2 from 1967. Tough books to find in any grade, and getting it apart of a nifty set of other cool comics was a fine snag. Any Son of Satan is cool to have.
