Tier List 1st time 52 completion!

Post image

What a great year for reading!

S: Recommend to anyone and everyone

A: Fantastic

B: Pretty good/fine

C: Meh

D: Did not enjoy

This year I was introduced to some Native American Indian literature and it's been an eye opener. Especially Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee. I almost couldn't finish it because of how heart wrenching it was. I think it should be required reading. So Buffalo Hunter Hunter was the perfect pallet cleanser afterwards. haha.

Surprise hit was Agent Zigzag and Rogue Heroes. Not a genre I'm familiar with (non-fiction/espionage) and loved it. When real life is stranger and wilder than fiction.

Happy reading everyone!

Thank you for your submission to /r/52book!

As part of recent rule changes, title and author is required to be included as written text in either a posts title, post body, or as a comment. For posts including more than one book (e.g. tier lists, wrap ups) title and author is required for all books that are the subject of the post. In situations where the main content of the post is to rate or rank books; we ask the rating or ranking is also included with the title and author.

At this time we're trying to raise awareness of these requirements so your post will not be removed; but we do ask you update it if possible.

Based on our shared interests, I need to move Buffalo Hunter Hunter higher on my TBR list.

Yay! Someone else who enjoys Joe Hill! I read King Sorrow last year and liked it a lot. Horns is still my favorite book of his though

Right?? That was the book that made me a fan of his. Heart Shaped Box is amazing too if you haven’t seen that

Congrats on your first 52! Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee is such a heavy one, then a surprise turn into espionage nonfiction too. Really interesting reading year.

Congratulations on accomplishing the 52 Book Challenge for the first time!

Since you liked There is No Anitmemetics Division, I would highly recommend The Gone World by Tom Sweterlitsch.

Do you think you are going to go for the 52 Book Challenge again next year?

They get better and better as it goes. I think Book 4 is the changing point. My personal favorite from what I have read so far. (Currently reading Book 6)
