I love it so far.

I don’t find the stock headlights to be awesome on my ORP. They are certainly adequate but I’m looking for more. We spend a lot of time on dark mountain roads. I plan on getting ditch lights but kinda want a light bar or pods up front too. I don’t need a laser beam to shoots a mile down the road, I’d just like what the normal brights light up only way better. Or maybe a laser beam that also lights up the critters and vagabonds lurking on the sides of the road. I don’t give a crap whether they are legal or not.

Whatcha think?

Removing air dam tomorrow and upgrading tires this week

I live just outside of Pittsburgh and I’ve seen maybe two or three other 6th gen 4Runners in passing in the month or so that I’ve owned mine while out and about. I’m not watching like a hawk but I haven’t noticed many around.

I grazed my mailbox and scratched the plastic piece above the wheel. I think it’s these two parts to replace. If it was a boat, it would be the starboard side, so the right if facing the front of the car. I’m trying to figure out if that means right hand or left hand side. I assume right because that is what it would be for the driver, but not sure. Thanks.

She is sitting pretty right now. About to order some wheels still trying to decide what to go with. Any suggestions?

This is an ai enhanced photo just to bring out the color. Look in the comments for original. Yes I do have one inch spacers. The wheels are stock sr5 wheels. The tires are nitto ridge grapplers 285/70/17s. I also have Katzkin leather seats installed and a leveling kit.

I was climbing up a trail which is 14% for a few miles, in about 90 degree weather and noticed my transmission temp gauge kept climbing even in 4Lo. This was the highest it ever reached. I never got a temperature warning.

Once it reached this point, I just put it in park and let it cool for 5 mins and then it returned to middle range temp. But after climbing for about 5 more mins, it shot right up to this temp again. Is this abnormal behavior? I thought the transmission temp was supposed to be stable when climbing in 4Lo. Not a troll post, but is it normal for your transmission to get hot in these conditions even in 4Lo? The truck just had me and less than 50 pounds of gear. I have completely stock tires as well, but was thinking upgrading to heavier, but still same size as stock, but am second guessing based on this behavior.

Easy install gives a clean look, I got the black logos for that OEM look.

For Canada specifically, it sounds like we will finally be able to get Everest outside of the Trailhunter trim (we couldn't before). I also saw another post that Wavemaker would not be offered on TRD Pro, but I'm not sure if that is specific to Canada.

Was anybody debating between 6th gen and a new landcruiser? Let me know why you ended up going with a 6th gen! Looking at a limited or landcruiser currently

Any owners replace their stock tires with 265/70/R18 KO3’s in D Load Rating? If so could you provide comments on ride quality and MPG Impact?

New to Toyota. As everyone knows, 5th gen 4’s are bulletproof. Why are 6gen owners okay with taking the plunge on the unknown reliability of the 6 gen?

Been a long time lurker but have always wanted a 4Runner. Idk why this gen gets a lot of hate but I love this car.

Although I will say the lack of a SIZEABLE cup holder is ridiculous. Why are there THREE TINY cup holders on the door. They can’t even fit a chunky Gatorade bottle let alone an owala.

Hey everyone. I just pulled the trigger on a 2026 SR5 in Underground. I am getting it with winter tires put on and I can pick between bronze, black or grey rims. Which colour does everyone think is best for this? I'm starting to talk myself into the bronze rims but I'm not sure if they will be too flashy or if I'll tire of them long term.

Took the air dam off but now I have questions, do I have to add a skid plate now or is it safe to not have a skid plate?
