Visor helmet help
Hey guys I'm new to cosplay and I'm currently working on my odst helmet. I dont have the galactic armory helmet I have another I bought off Etsy. I'm currently building 2 one for me and my bro. Problem is the visor works but there's gaps on the sides and I have no way of officially supporting the visor. The visors are galactic armory. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue?

Use some masking tape that’s what I did with mine.
It’s simple and you don’t have the risk of damaging the visor with glue

I created an adapter for my galactic armory visor when I printed the wrong version of the helmet. I super glued the adapter onto the sides of the helmet and screwed the visor into that. If you have a printer I could send you the files
Edit: The file

Honestly - its not very obvious. Does it jump right out at you in person?
Because if you can let it go it becomes ventilation to keep the visor from fogging up. Don't seal yourself so tight your helmet becomes a rain forest. Once you put it on you're not going to have light passing through drawing attention to it.

I know somebody recommended an adapter to screw them in so I'd follow that if I were you. That will give you the ability to swap them out in the future if you want.
But if you're looking for a quicker fix that's a bit more permanent, I've attached visors the old fashioned way by scuffing up the helmet on the part where the visor will contact it with the adhesive of your choice so as to give it better hold. Then depending on the rigidity of the visor, you might be able to use hot glue, or if you want something stronger then a 5-minute plastic welding epoxy.
From there you'll use one hand to keep the visor in place where you want it to align in the middle, then apply the adhesive where you want it to contact the helmet on the side. Be careful to put the adhesive far enough away from the open part of the helmet so no adhesive leaks out and stays visible from the front. Then use your free hand to basically clamp the two together for a few minutes while the adhesive sets. Hold it a little longer just to be sure it's secure.
Then just repeat the steps for the other side. It's a rougher way to do it but it's easy and pretty permanent.

What kind of an adapter?

The kind that Jcowin94 mentioned in his comment if he's able to send it to you

I would take a heat gun to it for just a minute, so it’ll be easier to bend, then glue it in place. Just be careful with the heat gun, they can get real hot real fast and don’t want to melt anything
