Two ultrawide lenses are not for zooming the hills, keep them around 150cm from the point of interest

I just got a few X6 cameras added them to the dozens of X5 ones I use for concerts. I just realized that even though all the cameras were synced to the same Android device, the timecode for the X5 units is showing up in premier. However the time codes for the X6 footage are all just showing 00:00:00 - has anyone had any success using custom script to use apply the file creation date and generate a time code from it. Or can anyone share method and equipment used to jam sync the x6.

The Mi Sphere (Mijia 360) records the camera orientation for every frame, but the official apps are long gone and generic 360 editors ignore that data. So I built Gimbalo:

Hi kids,

I'm wanting to see if anyone has tried editing footage from multiple 360 cameras in a similar fashion to normal/flat multicam editing.

i.e. load footage from each 360 camera into its own track in the editor, sync them together, then edit them in a fairly traditional multicam type setup.

Anyone done anything like that? Which software etc?

Any info greatly appreciated :)

p.s. In case it makes a difference, I'm using the Insta360 X2, X3, X4 and the One RS 1 inch

I don't have a photo because the vehicle is with someone else, but I used a Neewer suction mount for doing some car POV videos and the material left a black ring on the white paint. Are you only supposed to use these mounts on the glass?

I was able to scrub some of it off, but I'm worried it's permanent. No warnings whatsoever about this with the mount.

I recently recorded a flight in a small aircraft using my Insta360 X5, including stall exercises. However, when I watched the footage back, I noticed that the aircraft’s nose pitching up and down, particularly during the climb and descent phases of the stalls, wasn’t very noticeable in the video.
The movements felt much more apparent during the actual flight, but the footage doesn’t seem to capture that perspective very well.
I’m wondering if there are any particular camera settings, shooting modes, reframing techniques, or mounting positions that could help make the aircraft’s pitch changes and movements more visible.
Are there any recommended settings for recording flights in a small aircraft?
Would using a different field of view or reframing the 360° footage help?
Is there a particular camera mounting position that better shows the nose moving up and down relative to the horizon?
Are there any editing techniques that could make these movements clearer without making the footage look unnatural?
I’d really appreciate any advice from anyone who uses the Insta360 X5 for aviation or other activities where showing changes in pitch and movement is important.

So iam heading out to Puerto Peñasco for my 32 Bday and I was planing on taking my osmo 360 and other then dirt biking and droning especially around the family ranch I wanted to go diving around this one place my parents went to when they went here for the 18th anniversary a few months ago.

So point being what's the best know 3rd party Diving /waterproof case for the osmo 360 camera

(Its been a long time since dji dropped the osmo 360 and still had yet produced a official dji waterproof case )

Also if anyone knows any 3rd party wireless remote that's also waterproof I would thank you for telling me .

I’m posting this because I’m incredibly frustrated with how Insta360 is handling a confirmed failure of my X4. Do not use this company.

I spent 14 days traveling through Peru, including hiking Machu Picchu and more than five days backpacking by motorcycle through the mountains. I had no cell phone with me, so the X4 was my only way to capture video of the trip.

Two SD cards containing 516GB of footage were damaged. After investigating, Insta360 confirmed that the camera caused the damage and told me they could not recover the data.

This wasn’t just a collection of test clips. It was the only video I had of a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Their proposed resolution? Replace the X4 with another X4 and replace only one of the two damaged SD cards.

I understand that a company cannot magically recreate lost footage, and I’m not claiming that any camera can guarantee against data loss. But when the manufacturer confirms that its own device damaged two cards, I expect more than a routine hardware replacement—especially when its recovery efforts were unsuccessful.

Replacing the camera addresses the broken hardware. It does absolutely nothing about the reason I bought it or the footage its malfunction destroyed. And replacing only one of the two damaged cards makes the offer even harder to understand.

I want them to address whether a professional data-recovery company could make another attempt at their expense, replace both damaged cards, and offer a meaningful alternative to sending me the same model I’ve lost confidence in.

I’ve been a loyal Insta360 customer, and I run an action-sports social platform with nearly 10,000 users. These are exactly the kinds of trips and activities I bought this camera to document. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in both the product and their support.

The malfunction was bad enough. Being offered what feels like the bare minimum afterward is what pushed me to share this publicly.
