Huge Chase on I95?
Whats up with the dozen cops with lights on headed northbound on 95? None of them from around here either, all from Boca Raton and Riviera Beach.

Hey everyone, this maybe be a long shot buuuuut
I just wondered if there was a set route that the driver's license test would take for someone that lives in Cocoa?
I have Super bad anxiety and it would be really helpful to be able to practice the exact roads.
Edit: Cocoa, Not Cocoa Beach

im 23, I moved to Melbourne from NC a little over a year ago because my bf got a really good job and I wanted to experience getting away from my home town.
I LOVEEEEE the area, but I haven’t been able to make friends lol.
Where do people in their 20s hang around here, where could I go to make friends lol. I drive to Orlando a lot and I’m seriously considering moving there.
Asking Reddit is my last resort….is it me or the area LET ME KNOW!

UPDATE: Thank you all so much for your questions today! This was a lot of fun, and I really appreciated the thoughtful questions and the chance to have an honest conversation.
I believe candidates should meet people where they are and be willing to answer the hard questions. At the end of the day, your Representative is accountable to you. I’m grateful for the opportunity to hear directly from this community.
If I didn’t get to your question, please email our team at [info@jenkinsforfl.com](mailto:info@jenkinsforfl.com). You can also visit jenkinsforfl.com to learn more about my campaign and how to get involved.
Also, please make a plan to VOTE! If you have a mail ballot, fill it out and send it in or drop it off ASAP. Early voting starts in Brevard on Monday, October 19th, and ends on Saturday, October 31st (more info here), and Election Day is on Tuesday, November 3rd.
Grateful to everyone who took the time to participate. Thanks for having me!

Hey, r/321! I’m Jennifer Jenkins, and I’m here for an AMA!
I’m running for Congress in Florida’s 8th District, which includes all of Brevard County, and I want to hear from you directly.
A little about me: I’m a mom, an educator, and a former Brevard County School Board member. I’ve spent a lot of time listening to families in our community, and I know that decisions made in Washington don’t just stay in Washington. They show up in our classrooms, our healthcare bills, our grocery stores, and our homes.
And listen, you don’t have to consider yourself political to care about any of that. You don’t need to follow every headline or know the ins and outs of Congress. If you’ve ever looked at a bill and wondered how is this getting so expensive? or asked yourself whether anyone in government is paying attention to what you and your family here are dealing with, you’re already part of the conversation.
I’ll be answering your questions starting at 12:30 PM ET, in a few blocks throughout the day between door-knocking and school pickup (mom/candidate life doesn’t stop for an AMA!). Ask me about why I’m running, what I want to get done in Congress, where I stand on the issues, or anything else you’ve been curious about.
I’m happy to talk policy, answer tough questions, and hear what’s on your mind.
Drop your questions in the comments. AMA!

I know we're in Florida, but we still get some pretty cold mornings during the winter. Something I learned during a Brevard County Public Schools Partners in Education (PIE) meeting last year was that there are kids right here in our community going to school without jackets or warm clothing because their families simply can't afford them.
It's one of those needs I honestly hadn't given much thought to before, especially living in Florida.
My wife and I own Tropic Moving here in Melbourne. We adopted both of our kids through foster care, and that experience really opened our eyes to some of the challenges children face right here in our own backyard.
Earlier this year, we organized a care tote drive for children entering foster care, and we're now following that up with a winter clothing drive we're calling Make Life Warmer.
We're collecting new or gently used jackets, hoodies, and beanies for local students from elementary through high school.
We've also been back in contact with the PIE program to help understand how we can best get these donations to the schools and students who need them.
We've had a few local businesses step up to serve as donation locations:
If you've got jackets your kids have outgrown or hoodies sitting in the closet that aren't being used, we'd love to put them to good use.
I'd also appreciate hearing from anyone who works in our local schools or knows of students or programs that could benefit.
We're hoping to collect as much as we can before the colder mornings start rolling in. Even if you can't donate, helping spread the word would be appreciated.
Thanks, everyone!

I was wondering if there is a place that could benefit from VR headsets and e-scooters thinking teens and kids could benefit from them. I have 2 of each and a Nintendo switch, two TVs and some kids clothing.

Looking for recommendations for both deep cleaning to biweekly house cleaners that service rockledge.
