Petition to the Tallinn City Council: A Street in Solidarity
To the Tallinn City Council,
We, the collective of 2Baltic4You, respectfully ask the City Council to rename one street in Tallinn Dirsa tänav.
Riga already has Perses iela - a name that, in Estonian, means “Ass Street.” In the spirit of friendship, cultural exchange, and good-natured municipal cooperation, we believe Tallinn should reciprocate. Dirsa tänav would convey the same meaning in Latvian, creating a fitting counterpart and a lasting symbol of solidarity between the two Baltic capitals.
We ask the Council to consider whether one suitable street might bear this name, bringing a little levity to the city map while celebrating the close ties between Tallinn and Riga.
Respectfully,
2Baltic4You

Ir doesn't really work, because ''Dirsa tänav (tā nav)'' would mean ''Ass it is not'' in Latvian. You need to invent another word for ''street''.

Perses does not mean ass, it’s more like f*cked.

yup, literally it means "in the ass", which is much worse, but the way it is used is sth like fucked.

Tbh, the connotation of dirsa is also more rude than English "ass".

Dirsa tānav makes no sense. "Ass it is not"? Why not "Dirsa" or "Dupsis" street? Seriously.

But what should Lithuania do?
Nevermind, they already have Kaunas.
Also, I think Estonians have a general problem with "D", so it should be Tirsa tänav instead.
