With screen protector is everyone using that is not causing those little rainbow edges if you even get it a hair off, I've tried like a total of 10 cheap ones and 2 zagg ones with the alignment tray that was the worse , trying to align them perfect and I keep getting the little rainbow lines either at the top or on the side does anyone make any of them that are made to fit perfect or close to it that are not screen to screen?

I have a local seller selling 17 pro max for 1.38L(Indian Varient)and 1.26L(Japan varient)
as i am new to the pro max series i needed suggestion as to which varient would be better.

So far, I bought five generic "rugged" or "heavy duty" iPhone 17/18 pro max cases. And all were flimsy and poorly made.

I will comment with photos of cases that I already bought or found that were poorly made or didn't fully have what I looked for

Here is what an ideal case looks like for me:

1. Full camera plateau cover. I prefer it sliding down or swiveling all around to the back of the phone so it would not stick out when I am taking photos. I bought generic cases with such feature but they were really poorly made.

2. Padded corners, I think most cases have that these days.

3. Screen side raised bezels idealy 2.5mm.

4. Camera plateau raised bezel.

5. Finger ring.

I don't like the flashy colors, military look, and those with lots of bumps and crevices, unless functional. However, still suggest them becsuse if I had no better choice I will get them.

I can't find anything high quality, I cases and all of them are flimsy, to say the least.

Requirement:

1. Full camera plateau cover (sliding or swivel)

3. Screen side raised bezels

4. Finger ring.

Is there any well known high quality brand that has such case?

Hey I have posted about my battery performance and I’m very unhappy with the performance that I’m getting. I have never seen SOT more than 9 hours(on average around 7-8). Is this normal and am I just overthinking it? Or is it really bad??

So it’s been a couple months now since the issue started my phone is a 2tb iPhone 17 pro max, battery only lasts up to 3-4 hours max and then the phone just overheats as soon as I put a fan on it to get it cool and I start using it, it gets really warm and I took it once to bestbuy cause I had called Apple to check it out for me and they set up my appointment and they ran tests on it but it came back normal so at this rate I’m not sure if the phone is defective or not or idk I got it back in November 2025 and I’m unsure on what to do or if anyone else is having the same problem or if it’s just me?

I swear i haven’t seen the battery drop that fast unless I’m tripping…. Maybe using low power mode for the past 2 days just messed up my brain thinking my battery barely went down.

Had one screen protector left from the pack I bought for my 17 Pro last year. Tried it one the 18 Pro and it fits. One less thing to buy.

I am not sure what to do anymore, battery life is garbage to say for a pro max phone, I have the physical sim version, when I first got the phone I got around 9 hours of SOT but now I can’t get more that 6 not sure what to do

I had apple techwoven, silicone, clear but this is by far the best case for deep blue, color matches perfectly,grip is great and the ring is amazing

Sometimes I just hate this freaking phone and all of its hidden settings!! 🤬 I cannot find anything unless I go through 7 steps to find what I need, and it’ll be the simplest things. I regret buying such a complicated phone.📱

IDK what the issue is, nothing doesn't feels right and feel like "the one". Any ideas what case to try? I do not drop my phone that often, just 2 or 3 times in 8 months time. I don't really care abt scratches as long as it's not a dent whatsoever. I do prefer open plateau cases.

I’m honestly disappointed with the iPhone 18 Pro Max. Since the day I got it, I’ve experienced multiple issues with the phone freezing and shutting down by itself. For a phone this expensive, I expected much better performance, reliability, and quality.
To be honest, it doesn’t feel like a significant upgrade from other phones. I haven’t noticed enough of a difference to justify the high price, especially with these problems.
**Overall, I don’t think it’s worth the money.** When you pay premium prices for a flagship phone, you expect it to work smoothly, not freeze or shut down randomly. My experience so far has been frustrating and disappointing.
