Not new to enjoying baseball but new to the Orioles. Followed Rutschman over the continental divide and watched MiLB tv for a couple years then came up to be a full on Orioles fan this spring. It's been great!

I know others will probably complain about the "punt line-up" on the last game of the year but I really don't mind giving the vets one last game to start with the O's.
Vavra big dickin' in the lead-off though which is great, Stowers in the Clean-up, xDAWG clutch god Odor giving it one last ride...fuck it I'm sad now

Baker finishes the year with a really solid statline: 3.49 ERA, 2.79 FIP, 3.29 xERA (which is going down after today) and 1.4 WAR.

He's a keeper. I always pair him with Kreihbel since they were both waiver claims, but I think Baker is better. All things equal, the one with better velocity is often better.

Yea Baker is unquestionably a better pitcher. Kreihbel's HR/9 is a whole HR worse than Baker's, 0.39->1.40.

Last game of the season is always bittersweet. Some of these guys won’t be back with us next year.

It's crazy the Os could be the only AL team over .500 not to make the playoffs (white Sox can finish 82-80 if they win) along with Milwaukee in the NL (and the Giants can finish 81-81 with a win)
