Sorry I been missing the last couple weeks, its a sad day that Brewers baseball is over after today. I'll miss all of you in the offseason but I know everyone will come back with renewed vigor for next year. I'm at work so I won't won't able to shoot the shit with all you fine people. You just know both us and the Astros are going to win, and we miss out by that thinnest of margins. Of course there were probably 15-20 wins that we blew during the season, so I'm not railing at cruel fate, we have only ourselves to blame.

Went from general anger from Sunday night to quite the sadness that after today, realizing no baseball for 6 months. To only play 2 meaningless games since September of 2017 is actually quite an accomplishment, and I really do appreciate how far the Brewers have come since the dark days. Had fun this year on here despite how frustrating the year was sometimes. Cheers to one more!

I wish there was some sort of bi-weekly or even just monthly Uecker cast where they could select a game from fan submissions that they would want him to call as he watched them, and tell stories. I mean, he could just tell stories but something about having the flow of calling a game in between would be even better

Gonna put Bob on today. Hope we get some good old stories from him today, like the time he caught the ferry over to Shelbyville. He needed a new heel for his shoe, so, he decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So he tied an onion to his belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. "Give me five bees for a quarter," you'd say. Now, where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was he had an onion on his belt, which was the style at the time. They didn't have white onions because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones..
