Discussion | گفتگو War General Discussion Megathread (Day 230)

Hello to all Iranians and friends,

Due to the high volume of rapid updates and back-to-back threads, we ask that posts that do not contain a new or significant development be directed to this megathread. This includes general discussion, speculation, reactions, opinions, broader commentary, questions, jokes, memes, and general messages of support.

Standalone posts should primarily be reserved for current events and newly released information, such as breaking news, new videos or footage, official statements, confirmed updates, or other meaningful developments. Legitimate news and newly released footage are still allowed and encouraged as standalone submissions.

Minor updates, repeated information, personal commentary, or posts that do not report a new development may be redirected to the megathread or removed. Depending on activity levels, broader consolidation into the megathread may become mandatory.

This approach helps reduce clutter, limit misinformation, and keep the subreddit organized during a fast-moving situation.

Please remain civil, avoid spreading unverified claims, and continue to follow all subreddit rules.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Discussion | گفتگو Shah left 1979, Hezbollah founded 1982, Hamas 1987, Al-Qaeda 1988, Taliban 1994, Houthis 1994, ISIS 2004 etc! All happened after the Shah fell…coincidence? Or part of the plan to destabilize the Middle East forever and it started by having the Shah removed and replaced by radical mullahs!

We all know who was behind it (UK, France and US)… and the way it’s going for UK and France in particular… they aren’t far off from being turned into an Islamic state in 10-20 years…

News | خبر In this video, his hands tied, eyes blindfolded, they ask Majidreza Rahnavard for his last will. He says: "...Play music. Dance and be joyful."

In this video, his hands tied, eyes blindfolded, they ask Majidreza Rahnavard for his last will. He says: "Don't play Quran for me. Play music. Dance and be joyful."

To humiliate him further, the Islamic Republic publicly executed him and left his body hanging for 30 minutes.

In January, Iranians honored his will — they played music and danced for their loved ones, no Quran. That's what real impact looks like. When the regime tries to erase someone, the people of Iran choose who will be remembered, not the regime. #MajidrezaRahnavard

In yet another casualty in the Sistan-Baluchestan region following yesterday's clashes that left at least 20 IRGC casualties, a Basij military commander was assassinated by unknown insurgents that the IRGC claims are "linked to Israel and the United States".

Qatar officials said war is near and they get ready for the worst possible scenario of all time. Bibi Netanyahu also sends mixed signals and Trump is also mad at regime. Baloch resistance tension with the regime escalated to a point where most regime agencies say “Ground War Started”.
I personally found ways of staying connected and shared it with some people I trust. Also got myself tools such as power stations.
What will be happening? The final war?

Remember that boy is not our friend. He’ll sell us out to Russia. Advocating for Star-link means giving internet access owned by that Boy to Russia. I hope this site remembers what a backstabbing this is to democracy and liberation for Ukrainians and Iranians.

Other | دیگر Did you know during the Iran-Iraq War, Reza Pahlavi publicly offered to return to Iran and serve as a fighter pilot to defend his country, but the regime in refused! After Iranians betrayed his family I’m still surprised he was still willing to risk his life for those who kicked him…

What’s even more strange is how the regime didn’t take advantage of this situation to lure him in and capture him in Iran! What a bullet he dodged! Imagine if god forbid he lost his life in that war or by the regime!

Geniune question to the many who share a hatred of Islam. To those of you who are still deist or agnostic, what stops you from returning to the Zoroastrian fold?

I made a post on this subreddit, a while ago talking about how my school forced me to take off my pen in support of a free Iran

After a week of back-and-forth, emails and threatening to take it to the media my school acquiesced and allowed me to wear my pen.

Discussion | گفتگو Could the genocidal Mullah cowards create a world-wide crisis?

This is something I've been thinking about, and I'm curious what people here think.

Considering the genocidal Mullah regime, the Putin government, and Xi all see the conflict with Iran and USA as a threat to their strategic interests. What if a new worldwide disaster broke out and forced the US to shift huge amounts of money, military resources, and political attention back to dealing with a crisis at home? This would allow the genocidal Mullahs to dodge a bullet and survive the Trump administration because otherwise they are no way in hell going to survive the 2nd half of the Trump term.

I'm not saying I have evidence that anyone is planning something like this. It's a hypothetical scenario. But COVID showed just how much a global pandemic can disrupt economies, strain governments, divide societies, and completely change a country's priorities almost overnight.

For the genocidal Mullah regime, who are facing a existential threat like a rabid cornered rat like their leader Khamanei (RIP - rest in piss), a major distraction like that could potentially buy them time and take pressure off them.

Russia and China would also benefit strategically from the pull out as well since Xi will be able to continue buying dirt cheap oil from Iran and Putin will still have an ally in West Asia.

The question is whether anyone thinks this is a remotely plausible strategic calculation, or whether I'm giving these sick governments too much credit for coordinating something on that scale..

NOTE: I wouldn't put ANYTHING past these genocidal Mullah cowards to inflict as much damage as possible to everyone so that they can continue to exploit Iran's resources for their own Islamist ideology.

War Updates | اخبار جنگی The frames withdrawn are back after a couple of weeks of rest and maintenance

While some were afraid that the withdrawn airframes from europe and Mid east theatres were a sign of USA backing out of further conflicts with the islamic regime in Iran the planes have now return with more being deployed.

However the bombers are kept out of Britain so far and depending on what the baltic nations with their purposals do they could remain out of Britain for good.

Unverified News Story from Inside Iran about a shared taxi ride and checkpoints...

Auto-translated from Persian:

Today, I got on a shared taxi, and suddenly one of the passengers sitting in the front seat was saying that in one area, they'd set up a checkpoint at the end of every alley.

A fat, plump guy sitting on a chair with slippers on, wearing some kind of sheikh's clothes, and five kids—all between 15 and 17 years old—with guns in their hands.

He said we passed the first one, then got to the second checkpoint. He said you could see it clear as day, you know.

He said the driver was told to get out, and when the driver steps out, he says one word: "Didn't you see they stopped me up there too, searched me? From there to here, I don't want anything added to my car." And suddenly, the one with the gun in his hand says, while you're shaking like that, he yells, "Don't say a word, go over to the wall, stick to the wall."

The driver says, "Son, that gun's in your hand—take your finger off the trigger before you shoot us and get us killed badly..." And he says that bastard commander was just watching. Anyway, he says they searched the car again and didn't find anything, told him to go.

The poor guy was talking about how if that kid had squeezed the trigger out of fear right then—and the Kalashnikov trigger that goes off with just a light press—he says they'd have killed an innocent person, then they'd threaten his whole family: "If you say a word, we'll make you miserable," and so on. And this is the reality of Iran today.

It's not clear how many people these nightly gunshots in Mashhad are killing under cover of night, then silencing their families with threats. The situation in Mashhad has turned exactly into Texas 150 years ago, in the worst conditions of the Wild West, every single night.
