Map The nearest stars to Th’zoitrk
(For Th’zoitrk, a semi-sci-fi world building project.)
Image 1: 10 light-year diameter star map of all star systems within 5 lights years of Okott, the sun of Th’zoitrk.
Image 2: 20 light-year diameter star map of all star systems within 10 light years of Okott.
Image 3: 60 light-year diameter star map of all star systems within 30 light years of Okott. (+ the star Ongaziek)
There are 19 star systems within a reasonable distance (<40 light years) of the Okott star system,
The system within which Th’zoitrk exists. Creating a neat 20-star local region of space within the Bevegon dwarf galaxy that they all preside in.
These systems are, in order of distance from Okott:
Nizupiku - 3.04 LY
Haliraki - 3.62 LY
Dokwanshi - 4.7 LY
Yuillma - 4.91 LY
Beknika - 6.18 LY
Sifupolo - 6.47 LY
Tilleon - 6.65 LY
Kuillwan - 7.03 LY
Seicouye - 9.3 LY
Muiyedok - 9.67 LY, 9.78 LY, 9.78 LY (TRINARY)
Wenzicha - 11.7 LY
Ūntapoka - 13.03 LY
Zakodelo - 13.23 LY, 12.99 LY (BINARY)
Suyomiūn - 14.64 LY
Trecoulé - 15.48 LY
Doneadok - 20.21 LY
Rashonso - 20.48 LY
Miloshita - 27.18 LY, 27.18 LY (BINARY)
Ongaziek - 36.1 LY
The map is designed relative to Th’zoitrk, with the top and bottom of the sphere being pointed in the directions of Th’zoitrk’s North and South Pole.
Star systems in the bottom half of the map are majority visible to the southern hemisphere, star systems in the top half of the map are majority visible to the northern hemisphere.
The trinary system of Muiyedok is the only other star system a spacecraft from Th’zoitrk has ever visited. The ‘Yon-Yon’ interstellar probe from the nation of Ikshi settled into orbit around Muiyedok-1, the closest star of the trinary group. Muiyedok-1 (usually simplified to M1 when referring to the Muiyedok system) is the largest star of the three sibling stars; being marginally larger than M2 and M3 combined.
The Yon-Yon probe identified at least 17 planets inside the Muiyedok system, two gas giants and 15 airless husks, without a single atmosphere-bearing terrestrial world. It was planned that Ikshi would conduct extensive research of the system via the Yon-Yon probe, but only 11 days into its mission the probe suddenly lost contact, notably at the same time as telescopes on Th’zoitrk detected a significant luminosity increase within the Muiyedok star system. It is unknown what caused Yon-Yon to lose contact with home.
No other star system has ever been visited by a Zoitling spacecraft, aside from the Okott system itself. No nation currently has plans to attempt any interstellar missions to local stars in the future, all currently proposed interstellar missions have been ones to be shot into arbitrary directions of empty space, not toward any nearby stars.
Th’zoitrk has barely explored the worlds of its own solar system, the majority of the planets have never even had a probe land on them… why rush to the stars?
There’s already more than enough to see right in our own backyard.

How do you pronounce Th'zoitrk? Do you have an IPA transcription for that?
