I just want to get this off my chest. I recently found out that the current manager at Worcester Common Fitness, Richard Magner, is a Level 2 Sex Offender.

Charged as:

1. Indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older
2. Dissemination of matter harmful to minors

I am concerned about this, as they’re rolling out a “Childcare” at the gym.

What also bothers me is that his name is not on the gym’s website or the instagram page, and whenever he runs a class, he goes by “Ricky M” to hide this. When I look up on the Sex Offender Registry, WCF is not even listed as his work address, despite him being a manager since around January.

This sucks because otherwise I love this gym and want to support this small business. I just hate to see them making such a terrible management decision and creating a program that involves children.

Hi! I live in Boston, but I’m going to college in Worcester starting in January, and I’m thinking about taking the commuter rail. I think it’s doable since it takes like an hour but does it get canceled or delayed often? I need to be in class by 8:30 AM.

Looking for recommendations for places similar to chipotle in the area. I used to occasionally go to the one in Shrewsbury but it seems like recently the reviews have tanked and chipotle places have become more of a hit and miss. I thought about qdoba but the one in Northborough closed.

I know there is caliritos but was wondering about any other places people may recommend.

I’m looking for monthly cleaning services for my home, it’s about 1000 sq ft but not every room needs service. My guess is probably two hours per month? I can do more if 2 hours doesn’t make it worthwhile, but I live alone and have a regular 9-5 job so it doesn’t get too bad too quickly.
It’s not dirty or overwhelming, but my tendinitis is pretty bad and vacuuming hurts a lot. Please recommend services you’ve used or if you know someone looking for additional work. Thank you!

I have no clue what this was, but it was like nothing I have seen. One of the craziest things I've seen in real life.

I have seen shooting stars IRL. I've seen videos of that comet exploding in the sky over Siberia. I've seen videos of rockets taking off. I've seen videos of ballistic missiles descending from space and exploding. I've seen all the videos of UAPs.

This was not like any of those things.

• It seemed to be descending
• It didn't illuminate the sky like a comet.
• It had an illuminated halo and tail, as if heating up from the atmosphere, but the object itself seemed not to be illuminated. I could not discern its shape but it may have been roughly spherical, and rather large, much larger than a satellite.
• It was going at least mach 2, maybe up to mach 5. It was a lot faster than an airplane or a satellite.
• It didn't burn up like a shooting star.
• It was going too slow to be a ballistic missile and I can't see how anyone would successfully fire a ballistic missile into the USA at this point. I also saw no explosion and heard nothing.

I am expecting us to find out what this was. Did anyone see it?

Hey! I’m planning on taking my road test at Buffone Skating Rink in Worcester and was wondering if anyone has taken theirs there before or recently taken theirs here.
How did it go? Is there anything I should look out for or practice beforehand?

THE INCIDENT WAS RIGHT ON THAT CROSSWALK AND ACROSS FROM DUNKIN/JIMS PIZZA. IF ANYONE WHITNESSED IT OR KNOWS SOMEONE WHO COMMUTES THAT WAY IN THE MORNING PLEASE REACH OUT!!! TRYING TO FIND THE INDIVIDUALS WHO COMMITTED A HIT AND RUN!!

I recently discovered a litter of stray kittens around 7 months in my neighbourhood. People fly up and down the streets and it's definitely not safe for them to be living outside. Multiple neighbours seem to feed them, which honestly really upsets me because they are semi social cats that definitely could have been brought in somewhere when they were younger, it seems they may have even been abandoned considering they aren't too afraid of humans.
They aren't spayed or neutered and I would hate for a colony to form since we've never had any where I live. I don't know where to look or who to contact because it seems there aren't many TNR programs nearby. I already rescued one of them and plan on keeping one more so she has a friend but there are 2 or 3 more that I can't take in. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

In urgent need of family law attorney. Low income mom - I have contacted several legal aid organizations and most just provide resource lists or I don't hear back. I am dealing with complicated interstate case between MA and NY and need help understanding what I need to file in order for MA judge to have all info before communicating with NY courts. It is unfolding quickly - I have not been able to get to the courthouse for "lawyer for a day" due to work and being in NY for the initial hearing there. If anyone has attorney recommendations or know someone who offers pro bono or reduced fee services, please let me know.

Has anyone done the childbirth education classes through UMass memorial, specifically the ones held at the YMCA? These classes are free for me, and many other classes I’ve found carry a fee.
