What I actually did was pull a crappy Asha model I made like a few months ago but never finished and made a scene in Blender! I would never dream of using generative AI in a million years I just wanted to give you guys I scare (it being the spooky month in all)
But fr in my opinion this Asha model is really ugly and now I kinda want to remake it when I'm not so busy

Ruby/Tourmaline acting so antagonistic has always intrigued me (unless this is someone else). We see that she is supposed to be considering a better queen than Scarlet. And to an extent, she is! She cares a lot more about her dragons, she turns the arena into something more wholesome, ect. But there's bits of her character that show she's also takes after her mother, Scarlet, in a few ways. This scene for example, when she seems to disregard the lives of the skywings around her. In the GNs, she's even portrayed as grinning, as if she finds this amusing to an extent (could be an artistic choice). As Tourmaline, she is also a lot more aggressive and bold. There's also the fact she still wants to kill all Animus and Firescale dragons. She, of course, has some trauma surrounding Peril, but she is still very capable of caring and putting differences aside. Yet she is antagonistic towards the icewing dragonets who, yes were on their territory during the war- but were still dragonets. She even teases them about Scarlet being very interested in them, and how civilized they are for not killing them both immediately. Which we know Ruby is quite terrified of Scarlet BECAUSE of how cruel she is. So she knew Scarlet would have some cruel fate awaiting them, yet she doesn't seem remotely guilty about these decisions. She also was willing to wipe out the entire icewing tribe alongside Burn AND Morhen.
I always found this very intriguing, and I really hope it gets talked about more in some future books. Because she still willingly believes that firescales and animus dragons should be killed at birth (and ik book 8 touches on this more and she unbans Peril at the end, but I don't recall her specifically stating that this rule would be uplifted), she teases dragonets knowing very well they could die in Scarlet's hands, she's willing to wipe out entire tribes (which Burn promised them peace if they did, but I strongly believe Morhen and Ruby could also just team up and destroy Burn and her army if they refused to go along with this plan, yet they want to go through with it regardless)- She is a good queen for her tribe but I question if she's necessarily a good person. She's definitely morally flawed in some areas, and I really really like that and hope they touch on it more and maybe even make her expand even MORE as a character! Definitely one of the most interesting background characters imo.

Decided to redraw this picture I made in 2023. I didnāt spend nearly as much time on it this time but I think it still shows a lot of improvement. New one is the first one.

Today is Moon as a Werewolf, because Moon is my favourite character, and Werewolves are my favourite monster! They are also both linked to the Moon, so it worked out hehe. I made her more wolf than dragon, and I've been doodling this design since The first of October hehehehehe. If you can't tell, I love this =3
And for today's question:
What is your favourite Halloween Monster?
Mine, as previously mentioned, is a Werewolf, I've always loved them! Idk why, I just think they're cool hehe. How about you, what's your favorite Halloween Monster?
Come back tomorrow for Day 16!! Also, I make werewolves look more like wolves than humans, so that's why she's more of a wolf heheh
REPOST BECAUSE I FORGOT TO RENDER HALF HER TAIL TOTOT

I donāt think Sequoia and Wasp are going to make it out of Arc Four alive.
Theyāre both rather old, have made several mistakes, and honestly Sequoia seems like the kind of dragon who would lay down her life for a better future.
The other four queens are all but guaranteed to survive, it wouldnāt make sense to kill any of them off.
But hey, thatās just a theory!

Tribrids in order:
Mud/leaf/rain

Sea/night/sand

We just need names for them, haha.

I posted a drawing of my sandwing icewing earlier, if you need a reminder it's the one based off the guitarist, i only posted 2 to this subreddit so far and i havent actually thought of which one it would be. I already decided that the character was meant to have gotten a bit of the short end of the stick for both tribes in a sense, but i thought being unable to breathe either one flat out was a little boring. Does anyone have suggestions? I'd attatch the drawing but idk if that would be too reposty to post the same drawing again so instead ill use a different drawing of the same design [it's a slightly older drawing but not terribly old]

I've already made a post partially talking about this yesterday, so this post is sort of a expanded version of this post. And I know some people are going to disagree with me both before and after reading all of this, but just hear me out.
I fully get that she had a horrible childhood, since she grew up on the Volcano island, (and it was really messed up what Darkstalker tried to do to her by turning her into a copy of Clearsight) but I don't feel like this justifies any of her actions at all. There are other dragons who grew up on the island, like Mightyclaws and Mindreader, who suffered through a lot of the things that she did, and still ended up being good dragons who didn't even come close to do what she did.
She's a delusional narcissist who believes that she deserves to be a Dragonet of Destiny, or the queen of the NightWings pretty much just of existing, who belittles Starflight for getting to be a DOD and live on the mainland (when he obviously had no choice over this, and spent most of that time at this point in a dark cave) and even straight up says in one of her letters to Saguaro that she wanted to brainwash Starflight into becoming a NightWing extremist if her plans to become the NightWing queen worked (which she even considers to be "kind"). And she doesn't even come close to apologizing to him for this, and goes as far as to ask him for some gifts in her letter to him shown in the Guide to a Dragon World.
She also kidnaps Sunny (who had done absolutely nothing to her, and even ended up saving her life later on, which she never even acknowledges) and tries to give her to Burn, who would've killed Sunny and stuffed her corpse in her weridling tower. And at the same time tried to give Burn the location of the DOD so that she could hunt them down and kill them, in exchange for an army of SandWings to help her overthrow Queen Glory, which I'm about to talk about more.
And finally, she tries to kill Queen Glory/overthrow her rule not once, but twice! And all because she was a RainWing, despite the fact that she had let the NightWings live in the rainforest despite a lot of them at the time being perfectly fine with genocide her entire tribe, and was genuinely trying her best to help her tribe and rule them. Fierceteeth in general shows that she has massive disdain for the RainWings, as she insults them whenever she can, and is heavily implied in her letter to Saguaro about how she wished things had gone for her that she would've attacked the RainWing's with the SandWing army she hoped Burn would give her, and might've even tried enslaving them.
Overall, while I do get a few of her points, and of course recognize that she had a horrible life, I just feel A LOT of her actions were inexcusable and genuinely vile, so I really don't feel that bad for her.
Also, I find it pretty ridiculous how she faces basically no consequences at all after Darkstalker's defeat, and that Glory just let her and Strongwings go free after they had just tried to assassinate her AGAIN! I get that she didn't want to put them back into Darkstalker's prison, since she hated it so much, but I think she should've just thrown her into a quicksand pit like she did to Mastermind, either permanently or until she got a new prison built that was more to her liking.
And the fact that she got to become the defacto leader of Renewal?! She's literally the worst possible leader to lead this group, as she represents some of the worst and most toxic aspects of modern NightWing society, and could end up dragging some of the NightWings living there back into their old ways. Also the fact that Glory had no objections to her leading Renewal, and actively traded with the dragon who tried to kill her/possibly enslave her entire tribe if she had the chance is just baffling to me.
Side note I already feel horrible for Fierceteeth's unborn children, as they're probably going to have a MISSERIBLE childhood with parents like Fierceteeth and Strongwings

I'm going to be gone fission for the weekend, so this will be up for slightly longer than usual. I recognize that most of you will fall under more than one of these categories, so instead of having a "I do multiple of these things" option which most would pick I just want you to pick the one you think the community knows you for most. I think mine is either poll-running or commenting, not sure. Also, I don't just mean Reddit. Tumblr and YouTube and DeviantArt and others all count for this.

Queen Ruby-Tail is very materialistic and a bit hypocondriatic. She cares very much about the cleanliness of the hives insisting on keeping everything as clean as possible. But she's not a "karen" about it either, She has rooms dedicated to artists so they can make as much of a mess as their creativity tells them to and an entire hive dedicated to medecine and research. Out of the 9 hives 3 of them have silkwings as their ruler: lady Antlion, lady Skipper and lady Glasswing. Ruby-tail's voice still has the priority though, so they cant really do everything they want with the hives either.
(sry if i dont really respond to comments lately, ive been feeling really exhausted lately but I appreciate all of them! :3)

Recently Iāve become invested in things tui didnāt elaborate on much such as evolution, civilization, weapons, etc. This has made me think, what is the oldest tribe? Itās very clear all of the tribes have a common ancestor since they all share similar features (a snout, tail, wings, claws, etc). But this brings up the problem, what environment or species (spoilers for darkstalker. Like clear sight creating the hivewings) could have triggered the differences in tribes? Itās very obvious that hybrids have a mix of traits from both parents (see the sea-ice hybrid in qiblis book) so something had to have caused these differences. My first theory is the environment, and it applies to all of the tribes. Something (whether itās a predator or the land) caused these dragons to evolve these traits. Maybe an old seawing ancestor liked to hunt in deep water so they developed night vision and gills.
Nightwings couldāve turned pitch black to hunt nocturnal/sleeping prey (though idk why they have stars under their wings) sandwings developed their barbs to survive other predators in the desert and their resistance to the heat. Icewings developed their sharp claws to grip onto the ice. Skywings⦠Iām actually not sure. My best guess is their prey was in the sky a lot. Rainwings had to develop camo and magical death spit to hunt before they became vegetarians, and mudwings blended into their environment along with their⦠mud healing powers. Yeah. Iām not gonna continue on because that would take up too much space but you get the idea. My best guess would probably be skywings since theyāre the least evolved out of all of the tribes.
Edit: no 4th arc mentions plez š„ŗ havent read it yet

Other than Qibli and Winter (my 1st btw, how original), whose your favorite duo? and which two characters do you think would make a fire duo?
Also, why the heck is "leidenfrost effect" my 2nd best performing comment?
