Is it a wasp or a bee? It was very big, at least twice the size of the other wasps. Looks like he is on a quest to secure all the pollen in southern france.

Got some pics of it too, next to a normal bee. I will post in comments.

I was minding my business washing my hands at work and he crawled across my face and made a beeline for my nose :(

EDIT: Couple things- 1. Spider was safely released back outside, we both seem to be ok! 2. I got it out by gently exhaling through my nose in short puffs. 3. I really thought brown recluses were bigger than that oops

Dangerous?
Venomous?
Why the snacks suitcase? She hungry?
Pregnant?

What can you tell me me about her?

EDIT: thank you for all the amazing comments on the photos too! I shot this on a Sony A6700, with the 100mm F2.8 Macro GM lens.

The first image is focus stacked comprising about 80 images.

The second photo is a crop ! Of the first photo.

The third photo is a single shot.

The ticks were removed one by one, and I also had some up my arms and back. Likely lone star ticks. Southwest TN

When I was at the beach we put our bottled water down in the sand. The bottle initially had condensation from being in the cooler and now being exposed to the heat. Can someone explain to me why the ants started swarming the bottle and even more interesting why they would drink the beads of water on the outside and start seizing in the sand and die. I noticed I small pile of ants dead next to the bottle and it freaked me out. I’ve never even seen ants attracted to water there was no sugar in site. Why would this happen?

I was taking a video of this cute crab spider and then I noticed this other bug removing its wings.

No extra flying critters that I've noticed.

pls help like genuinely what is that...

(we live in australia btw)

Found this dude hitching a ride on my driver's side window when I went to pull out. Pulled over and put him onto a receipt. Have him in a mason jar now. Cool lookin alien dood.

Edit - forgot to post location, im in the eastern United States.

This little critter visited me in Waco, Tx. I was already surprised about the color, then I noticed the little hearts when I took a picture!!!
