Just go through your backlog and save some money. These games aren't going anywhere.

They may even go on sale by the time you want to play it

Emulators are so awesome now. F-zero gx with hd textures at 1440p is as rad as a game can get.

Exactly. I can’t imagine playing every single AAA game that comes out, but I guess some people just don’t care about their money.

Most hobbies are more expensive tbh

That’s what GameFly is good for. Rent games then send them back when you’re done.

For real! Join team "playing 2-3 years old games" you benefit from sales removing 20-50% of the initial cost without having to deal with FOMO of new releases

This is the way @ play games in your library first

I stopped buying brand new games unless the plan is to play it immediately and I'm still working on my backlog. Buuut that backlog is no longer growing.

Now days, unless a game I'm interested in goes on sale for stupidly cheap (like Black Friday), I simply just can't think of a reason for buying a game for the backlog, especially at full price.

Pragmata suffered some of the same downfalls imo. I have no idea how it was widely received, but it felt sterile and aimed at kids to me. A little more arcade-y than I like. YMMV.

Highly recommend Pragmata. It made me cry.
