It’s crazy. Microsoft was literally killing themselves and instead of capitalizing on it Sony decided to join them.

Well Microsoft shooting themselves in the foot with the launch of the Xbone was how Sony ended up at the top of the heap, so this is just Sony paying them back for their kindness over a decade ago.

Or when their CEO told people who didn't like the Xbox One's always online requirement to go buy a 360 instead. Genuinely one of the worst product launches I've ever witnessed.

Too bad it's too late for Microsoft to capitalize. They pretty much don't even sell Xbox anywhere outside the US and the UK anymore.

Yea.... just gotta hope they bounce back with their next box, but that also means putting faith in Microsoft, which is a dubious proposition.

Sure, but Xbox exclusives haven’t really peaked my interest either. I know next gen I’ll probably look to get a PC and keep my PS5 until they stop making games for it.

This is how it has always gone with playstation and xbox. One takes a lead then shoots themselves in the foot and back and forth. Just sony tends to come out on top in the end.

2 years ago I didn't think Xbox would be around today. What's crazy is they haven't done anything better than before, they've just avoided blunders and look good by comparison.

Well, a lot of it is simply just flying under the radar. They’re also cancelling discs but they haven’t officially said anything and by staying silent they don’t look as bad as Sony
