Infamous. I can still play it, but would love for it to have a comeback. With a bigger city. And more missions.

Also midnight club for me those were the best soundtrack, in-depth car /motorcycle editing. And best races I've had. And no other game has matched that for me yet.

I would quit my job if midnight club LA got remade

1

u/Keku_Saur ALL OF IT Sep 08 '26

Is that a good thing? I hope so?

2

u/Haunting_Tax_3684 Sep 08 '26

Yes, cause I’d only be playing that all day

1

u/Jakell27 Sep 10 '26

We could be switchin lanes 😭

1

u/Playsistem92 Sep 10 '26

I have a feeling, that the street racing part in GTA VI is huge like a new midnight club. Imagine 😉

1

u/bakedonhighland Sep 11 '26

For some reason, that game couldn’t hold a candle to Dub Edition.

2

u/Dilapidated_matrix Sep 09 '26

This needs more love

2

u/ThomasTriesHard Sep 14 '26

Fuuuuuuuck midnight club!! I totally forgot about that game. Man it was SO good, at least it was in my head right now.

2

u/pottsygotlost Sep 14 '26

The soundtrack 🤤 MC3DE Remix was where it was at!

2

u/Siaten Sep 14 '26

I wish there were more games like Midnight Club being made. Nothing really fits in the niche this made.

1

u/Keku_Saur ALL OF IT Sep 14 '26

Agreed

1

u/Alizaea Sep 09 '26

Midnight club 3 Dub Edition Remix was me and my best friends go to game whenever we had sleep overs growing up. That and Majora's Mask. I would love a midnight club remake.

1

u/REKLA5 Sep 13 '26

Agreed. Loved the Midnight Club series.

Remastering both infamous games and infamous festival of blood would be the ONLY way Sony would get my money in the modern day. Not even gta6 is getting me to buy back into sony and their bullshit.

I’m honestly looking into buying one of those new handheld pc/console things and just giving up on my ps5. If I’m going to be paying that much I might as well have access to a larger library of games. Plus I’ll probably have to travel a bit for work in the future so it’s a good trade

1

u/[deleted] Sep 10 '26

These are my favorite games hands down. Have you played the Prototype series?

1

u/rada-rada_rada-rada Sep 10 '26

No but I've been thinking about getting a copy and ripping the files for emulation. There's just not much information on if prototype has issues on the PS3 emulator I use.

u/Avizare1 Sep 09 '26

This. If the original inFamous games were remade into a single package, it would go so freaking hard!

2

u/Ill_Addition_9860 Sep 10 '26

inFAMOUS 1 but with movement as smooth as Second Son would be peak!

1

u/Avizare1 Sep 10 '26

inFamous 1 but with frames as smooth as Second Son would be good too, lol

1

u/Ill_Addition_9860 Sep 10 '26

True, and they could do even better than Second Son and give us 60fps.

2

u/Avizare1 Sep 11 '26 edited Sep 11 '26

Woah woah woah, now you're just getting greedy. Next you'll be telling me that you want Cole to look... well, not like a friend potato!

edit: FRIED potato damned auto-correct

2

u/Ill_Addition_9860 Sep 11 '26

LMAO he’s such an unfriendly potato though

3

u/Deya_The_Fateless Sep 08 '26

And have it be multiplatform. Iirc, it was one of those "playstation exclusive" games.

1

u/Keku_Saur ALL OF IT Sep 08 '26

Well it had to be. It was on disc only at that time. I recall my brother playing it a lot when I was a kid but I loved it and he would let me borrow the remote to explore the city. But I let him do the missions at that time.

But I I remember just enjoying how he just became a villain and then start all over with being a hero. Honestly good game for it's time.

2

u/jestermx6 Sep 09 '26

I know there was a sequel I played too, but this original infamous was a one hit wonder for me. One of the few games I have for my bluray player.

2

u/Bitter_Procedure260 Sep 09 '26

I want this so bad. Lover infamous its day (especially 1 and 2). They are really tough to replay though - did not age well at all. 3 is playable, but it is so short.

2

u/Ark_Valos Sep 09 '26

If they didn't waste BluePoint Games' potential this most likely would have been reality. Blueprint was a gold mine for remasters.

2

u/IkujaKatsumaji Sep 14 '26

I think it's baffling that no one has made a superhero RPG, where you create a character and pick from a list of tech tree style powers. Superhero stuff has been big for decades, and aside from the City of Heroes MMO I don't think anyone at all has tried it.

1

u/Batman1206 29d ago

Basically just DC Universe Online

1

u/IkujaKatsumaji 29d ago

Can you make your own superhero in that?

1

u/Batman1206 29d ago

You can customize your character and choose your abilities. For example Beast Boy's powers you can turn into a gorilla or a dog. You can have superspeed, be able to fly, theres a couple more. You can choose your weapons. Its just a really old game so the graphics won't be appealing, there are "episodes" which plays as DLC, you get transported to a separate map for missions, such as the new Supergirl movie. I'm not explaining this very good but the game is free on every platform.

1

u/IkujaKatsumaji 29d ago

Interesting; I'll check it out. Thanks!

2

u/MicronukeProductions Sep 14 '26

It was always so weird to me that superhero games were never more of thing, especially during the height of the MCU.

2

u/STRYKER3008 Sep 15 '26

Was gonna say Prototype but I'll put it here haha. They both deserve it

1

u/Brumtol10 Sep 09 '26

Omg thatd be a dream come true, I played that game only for like 10 years.

1

u/testtdk Sep 09 '26

My tv sucks, so I play all my PS5 with Remote Play. Kills me that I can’t stream Infamous over it. >_<

1

u/Bitter-Engineer-117 Sep 09 '26

This and Prototype please

1

u/Material_Assumption Sep 09 '26

I loved this game. Shame this genre of game died out.

1

u/GrassyKnoll55 Sep 10 '26

Yeah I didnt finish second suns, but I definitely had a blast with 1 and 2.

1

u/Glad_Location7546 Sep 10 '26

This game was so great, easily one of my all time favs.

1

u/Ill_Addition_9860 Sep 10 '26

YESSSS inFAMOUS Remake with the same cast and dialogue, but a better open world and smoother climbing. And less glitches, it’s one of the most buggy games I’ve played.

1

u/Freerob44 Sep 12 '26

Infamous!! First game I bought on my when i got my ps3. I lived out in the boonies and had to go buy a usb drive to download the software updates for the system and the game.

1

u/Nitro-Nick8 Sep 13 '26

100% YES!!

1

u/potato-king38 Sep 13 '26

My god if i could have infamous run at a stable 60fps

1

u/plunderyarrbooty92 Sep 14 '26

Aww man I'm so disappointed that there aren't more of those games, I loved them. As well as infamous's more violent cousin, Prototype.

1

u/Bluehatcat81 Sep 08 '26

I would love to see it rendered with that new DLSS5 tech

u/Odd-Neck2146 Sep 09 '26

I played this in 2011 and it was so fucking ass. A product of it's time. Constant cover shooting and buzz cut military man generic bullshit. You might as well have been a cardboard cutout of Jason stathom
