Online BS in Electrical Engineering
Hello!
I'm considering University of North Dakota (or ASU) for an online BS in ECE (2nd bachelors). I've been trying to find course syllabus online, or with advisors, but had no luck. If anyone could provide the syllabus for any courses they have access to (or just a list of topics if giving out the syllabus is not allowed), that would be very helpful.
Also, for those in the online EE program, do you have any pros and/or cons I should be aware of? Any other information you have on the program in general would be very helpful.

UND Self Paced Course Length
I'm looking into taking PSYC 439 Cognitive Psychology through UND's self-paced Enroll Anytime program. I know they advertise 3–9 months to complete courses, but I'm hoping to finish in around 6–8 weeks.
Has anyone actually finished one of these courses that quickly? Is the 3-month minimum enforced, or can you get your final grade and transcript as soon as you finish everything?
I'm trying to graduate in December, so any advice would be appreciated!

Roommates
I fear this may be a dumb question, but how do you put your roommates in as the ones you want?
Hi! I’m admitted to the Fall 2027 term and just finished the housing application. I already have a pre-selected group of girls I’m going to room with, but we’re all having trouble figuring out how to put each other’s names down. Is there a certain day that opens/we can do that? I’ve read the instructions on it a billion times but none of us can figure it out. If anyone knows or can help, please let me know!

Can I get into UND Aviation without taking the SAT?
Hi! I'm a Korean international student currently attending high school in the Philippines, and I'm planning to apply to UND's Commercial Aviation program for Fall 2027.
My GPA is around 94/100 (90 in Grade 9, 92 in Grade 10, 94 in Grade 11), and I'm currently in Grade 12.
I haven't taken the SAT yet, and I'm wondering if I should take it before applying but I am not even sure if I can good scores.. I know SAT/ACT aren't required for UND, but I'm worried that many Aviation applicants may still submit their scores.
Do you think I have a reasonable chance of getting accepted without an SAT score?
And for anyone currently in UND Aviation, did you submit an SAT score when you applied?
Thanks!

Flights with other CFIs
I've seen posts recommending getting "coverage" to do flights with CFIs that aren't the principal one, if students need to get more flights in. But how do they do that? Just pressure their own CFI to arrange it for them, or do they somehow have to arrange it themselves, and how? Thnx

Flight Program
Hey all, I'm a senior in high school right now and I applied to und back in august for commercial aviation. I'd come in with my ppl and was wondering what it is like getting flight time as that is my major concern. I know the weather is terrible in the winter and I'm wondering how fast I would get my commercial pilots license. If you have any advice please let me know, thanks!

Anyone take the self paced Calc 2 course
I considering taking the course but I just have a few questions for anyone who has taken it.
-Do the professors allow calculators at all? Or like a cheat sheet?
-which course was better Glassers or Sidles?
I’m planning on taken it probably over the summer instead of in person at my normal uni.

Tuition
I'm taking a couple of engineering courses this semester, and in the course info, it says that the tuition is due at the start of the semester. In all previous courses I've completed, I've been able to pay the total throughout the semester, with a slight accrument of interest - would this still be the case here? Thanks

North Dakota 2026 Preview (probably missed some stuff, tell me and I'll fix it)
Hey all. I built 2026 previews for every FBS team and all 124 FCS teams, because nobody does this for your league. Here's North Dakota
https://www.highlights.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026-fcs/north-dakota-fighting-hawks
Returning production, portal moves, a projected two-deep, and the schedule with model win probabilities.
Usual disclaimer: I probably got things wrong. FCS data is hard to aggregate and my roster feed hasn't fully flipped to 2026. Tell me what's off and I'll fix it.
The good: that defense was excellent. First in FCS on third down, 5th against the run at 104 a game, 8th in yards per play, and 2nd in the country with 27 takeaways. And 8-6 badly undersells it, because five of the six losses came by a combined 17 points, including 38-35 at Kansas State, 24-23 at Montana and 15-10 to North Dakota State. My power rating has UND 3rd in all of FCS. Jerry Kaminski is back and settled at quarterback after 2,570 yards and 26 touchdowns, with 67% of the offense returning.
Where my model pushes back: the defense returns 25.8%. That is the unit that made this team, and roughly three quarters of it is gone. Sawyer Seidl and his 897 yards and 13 touchdowns are out of the backfield too. The offense being the part that comes back is a strange shape for a team whose identity was stopping people. Model says 8-4, which is basically last year's real quality with a new defense.
Can Schmidt rebuild that defense fast enough, or does 2026 turn into a shootout year?
Tell me what I got wrong.

Biochem + Gen. Physics online.
Has anyone taken a biochemistry or physics course online at University of North Dakota
If so, how were they? How long did it take you to complete these courses? The schools I am applying to require either organic chem or biochem. UND has a course that combines both. Would this be ok to take?

How does flight training work if ur not a citizen but have a green card?
I have a flying slot in AVIT 102 for this fall. I know u have to get the extra TSA FTSP approval but when do I apply for it? The UND website just says to do it 30 days before but it doesnt say if new students are supposed to do it before or after arriving on campus. Has anyone gone through this process recently? Thanks!

UND Calc II self paced online
Hey all, im currently trying to decide between Alex Sidles and Seth Glasser for MATH 166 Calculus II online.
From what I've found, Sidles runs a self-paced course with textbook readings, short videos, and Knewton Alta adaptive homework, and he's got 94 ratings on RMP with a 100% would-take-again, though one review mentioned the online section is light on homework and can be hard to follow without much video.
Glasser keeps showing up as a top-rated "similar professor" (5.00) on other math faculty's pages but I can't find much on his actual teaching style or format for this course. Has anyone taken Calc II with either of them recently, especially online?
Curious about workload, how clear things are without live lectures, and grading fairness. Thanks!
