First thought: no PNW? (Pacific North West)... but maybe they will come back after Aspen 🤞🏼

Six shows including something new out in the California low desert near Yucca Valley... and winding up with their 3,000th show two blocks from where I used to live. (For the second time since I bought a house between Portland and Seattle - they aren't playing Portland or Seattle... and they're playing for the second time two blocks from my old house.)

I'll be there for all six! Get in the van!

It's a weird anomaly, but since the first time I heard it in 2012, they've played it 7 times and I've been at 4 of them. Does anyone else have weird statistical anomalies like that with rare songs they hear a bunch?

Also, I didn't realize, but Nachos for Two was only the second biggest bustout we got this weekend.

Edit: I also just realized I’ve seen 4 of the last 6 times Flying by The Beatles was played, and in fact the first Flying I caught was the same show as my first YYZ. Weird.

Instead of an entire set, we got about 20 minutes of Stew Art in the first "Choose Your Own" adventure set. It's always my favorite part of UMBowl.

I got to go to 2 Stew Art events before UMBowl existed. It was limited to 100 people, before the main show... it was when they were making show CDs and everyone at the Stew Art got a CD of it... and afterwards there was a meet and greet with pizza and soda.

So why cut it back at UMBowl? I suppose it is a challenge for the band to come up with new sounds after decades of doing this. I also wonder if the change in line up lead to the shortness of that section...

Seriously excited for these shows! See yall soon Milwaukee. UM N1 -> UM N2 -> NLCS Game 1 is gonna be an all timer weekend!

What is everyone getting into before the show tonight? Wife and I will be getting into town around three and looking for recommendations or groups to maybe meet up with.

Best one I've heard in a while. Long live Bayliss.

I livestream on YouTube and often cover a lot of jam bands, although not much of Umphrey’s. Some followers urged me to create an arrangement of Glory so this is what I created on the spot. It gets intense as it goes on!
Glory - Umphrey’s McGee (cover)

Any Ukelele players here? I am trying to play some Umphrey’s songs on my Ukulele using UMTabs and most don’t translate well since the Uke only has 4 strings. Gulf Stream is an exception. Anyone have any recommendations?

Any updates on set themes yet? Who is on lights this weekend?

Went to the first 9 shows without Jake (west coast tour in March). When a Jake solo came up, Brendan would do the solo and Joel would pound out the rhythm on his Rhodes.

Watched the live streams from Nashville this weekend and saw Joel taking over some of the leads with his Moog and Brendan doing the rhythm. Loved it! sounded awesome and happy for Brendan to get a break from doing every lead. Very happy with this configuration - even love having Joel back on the "Gold Side"

My favorite 1st set in a long long time. JoJo Hermann joining in was excellent. Exodus --> Talking Heads - Life During War Time --> Exodus

Local band does ok

I couldn’t upload pics to the existing thread so dropping them here. I have shots of all of the corners, too, that I can send if you’re interested in something.

Im curious what year you guys think was the best year stage production wise for the band.

To be even more specific im mainly talking about summer camp but im also interested in opinions for the tours.

Been seeing umph since 2006. Love umph. Am massive Jake fan. Went to George's Majestic tonight to see first post Jake umph. Umph still fucks. They fuck hard. Make no mistake. Support this band.

I used to collect Pollocks and as a result I have around a dozen of his UM prints from ‘06 through ‘15. Cleaning out the flat file in advance of an upcoming move and looking to unload these. Outside of EB, are there any forums or groups you would recommend where I can get them in front of fans that may be interested? I know there isn’t a huge market for these, just looking for fair value and to get them in the hands of someone that will appreciate them. Thanks.

Just wanted to say how much fun I had meeting so many of you who made it out to Fort Collins, and catching up with everyone I got to hang out with again. It was such a great weekend. I’ve never traveled that far west for music before, and it made the experience even more memorable. Love yall

Listening to the Mish run. Off the charts great stuff but I kinda wish they’d ditch hurt bird bath for the time being. Hate saying that because it may be my favorite UM song, but it feels very empty without a second guitarist.

Thoughts? Any other songs currently in rotation you wish they’d maybe hold off on?

Just saw videos from last night and MAN that was awesome. Squeaky feet are on the rise!!!

The 5 piece came to Colorado and delivered.
