We all know that Homelander literally planned and was turning all of America into a Dictatorship and beyond if given The Chance however compared to literally History’s Most Evil Tyrants/Dictators especially Hitler and Stalin for obvious Homelander doesn’t look THAT Bad in comparison! However if Homelander actually exploited And used his Powers to the fullest extent possible and becomes as Evil and Tyrannical as History’s Most Evil Tyrants/Dictators Ever! Would he be genuinely horrifying towards The Whole World? I mean imagine Homelander putting literally The Planet through Hitler/Stalin’s Level of Tyranny and Body counts combined and on Steroids due to him being a Full Blown Super-powered being that can destroy The World rather than a Human Being! Would he actually be Nightmare Fuel towards The Planet? What do you folks think? Let me know in the comments

I can’t believe they wasted him the way they did, he was literally introduced to be the one person that could genuinely go toe to toe with Homelander and they threw him under Ice TWICE.
I know they wanted it to be Butcher that killed Homelander rather than him but not even letting him be present during the finale or assist Homelander in fighting The Boys during the Oval Office battle is insane.

And I'm suddenly seeing less pro-homelander and pro-vought posts/comments on this sub
It's important to note that this sub is primarily used to discuss supes and their affiliated shows and contents... shows and contents that (since the Whitehouse stream) support an openly liberal message, with (mostly) openly liberal actors, and an openly liberal director at the creative helm of the vcu.
Interesting that now, after the botfarm exploded, it suddebly seemed like there are more calm and positive posts from Starlighters just sharing their experiences meeting some of the supes/celebrities from the vcu and stuff
(OoC. This is dsort of a meta-post and an in-universe post)
(Edit- please remember how to engage in a post tagged as "in universe")

I was really nervous but he's such a chill dude! I even got to ask a question at the Q&A and got some awesome music recommends :)) Hope I can meet Antony someday too, if you met me at comiccon holland feel free to send your selfies to me!
Disclaimer I know I'm heavily pierced and dressed in a genderbent costume, I'd prefer if people stay civil about that :'))

The Boys Universe is filled with a lot of Evil and Heinous Individuals of course but even among The Boys which genuinely stands out and could be called Pure Evil in The Whole Franchise? Not even like Homelander levels of bad I mean genuinely beyond that Evil Stormfront feels like a true Psychopath! The ones that are actually 100% unapologetic Pure Evil that we’ve seen in Fiction or literally in History’s Greatest and Most Evil Villains! Other than Stormfront as she’s universally agreed to be Worse than Homelander himself like genuinely who in The Entire Boys Franchise truly deserves to be called The Most Evil Character of The Boys Universe?

I’ve been watching the boys since it came out and today at my local trading card game store I found a box of 2025 Skybox The Boys trading cards and said screw it, would be cool just to have and bought it. I came home and opened it and got some decent cards and then I looked up this one card and found out I pulled number 1 out of the 7 “The Seven” Parallel cards available in the world lmao was not expecting that.

I mean, it felt like that’s what it was eventually building up too, having Marie constantly getting more powerful, there were all these mentions about her being “as powerful as Homelander” all this buildup, only for just nothing to happen, it was kind of disappointing honestly, what do y’all think?

After delays and nearly 4 months, I finally got my main concept of Behemoth done. I wanted to try to draw it more realistically like how Marvel artists did Hulk in the art books I've seen, but I did the best I could. At last I got done and can move onto the next one.
Had he appeared in the series, I would've chosen Steve Buschemi, or Rob Riggle to play the role.

I HATE how powers at the end of this show became, it was almost all practical, most powers came down to super strenght that dosnt feel super at all, and flasyh powers that arent homeis lasers have been mostly seen very shortly, like most supes didnt use their power set at all except a-train and oh father who acttuly used their but even then oh father rarly used his sonic scream, and yeah i get it action was never the main thing but common i want anything that isnt big slow punches or cock, like early seasons had all these diffrent power sets like strecting, explosions and a litteral mind controler.

Essentially he’s a teenage kid who gained insanely powerful telekinetic powers after being exposed to some kind of alien artefact that crash landed on Earth
In the end of the movie he was showing city block level feats, insanely fast flight speed, impenetrable force fields, telekinesis that was nearly shattering entire skyscrapers and weather control. In the lore of the movie the more their core ability is “trained” the more potent and powerful they become, and this is extremely fast as he goes from hardly being able to control a ball to no diffing a heavily armed SWAT team and becoming nearly unstoppable. This alone makes him far more powerful than standard “V” telekinetics
In the world of the boys, where would he be placed in terms of power?
In my opinion, with his power set and ability to get more and more powerful, he’d be almost Homelander level tier. Probably surpassing him if he kept training because who knows what the limits of this actually is.

I swear to god, it’s on par with the first trailer for the first Deadpool movie where they had DMX playing in the background. Call me basic, but I have more of an appreciation for Imagine Dragons because of this teaser. The official trailer is really good too, just not as good imo.

Only question is, who is that green Supe between Maeve and A-Train?
r/TheBoys • u/ronrhino13 • 6d ago
It just hit me, identical costumes. Could Vought have had their own version of Spider-Woman with this unkown Supe?

I'll explain what I mean.
Early in, they started off being the sort of hearts, the moral compasses of the show, the counterbalances to Butcher, but by season 5, Annie had become a ruthless resistance leader who was willing to kill and commit genocide for her goals.
Hughie, though still with a good side and stopping Butcher, seemed more concerned with V1 than actually stopping it, he even came clsoe to deploying the virus himself if I'm not mistaken.
So what I'm saying is, if characters discard their moral compasses, does the show become less about them and their likeability and heroism, and the focus is more about the shit happening about them?
When a character isn't a good person anymore exactly, but the bad guy is even worse, when they're busy fighting a war, on some big quest, etc. They lose their likeable and sympathetic traits and the action and stakes become the main focus and they're not interesting part. Vessels for all the shit happening around them because that's meant to be the interesting part, not them.
Did anyone feel that?

In the last season, he killed Ambrosius and said he'd kill any fish in the sea for Homelander. In the scene above that started the whole grudge between him and Noir, he's even shown eating sushi without remorse. So why does he start getting so upset about it?

We learn that The Boys effectively dissolved shortly after Lamplighter murdered Mallory's children. MM goes to work at a Juvenile Hall, Frenchie wants nothing to do with Butcher as Butcher owes him a great deal of money, and Mallory retires because her kids are dead.
But then Butcher sees A-Train killing Robin and recruits Hughie, then they kidnap Translucent, and then because the stakes are so high he convinces Mallory, MM, and Frenchie to rejoin The Boys.
But what was Butcher doing inbetween Mallory's children dying and Robin's death?

Would you say Annie and Hughie or Kimiko and Frenchie's love for each other enough to distract you from them not being model citizens?
Did the threat of Homelander feel scary and momentous enough for you to not care that the Boys weren't "the good guys" per se?
