About my musical taste: Genres that I adore so much: alt rock, britpop, pop punk, midwest emo, emo, post-hardcore, emo-pop, indie rock, nu metal, swancore, metalcore (still getting into this tho), skate punk, post-britpop.

About my fav tempo of music: I like melancholy songs but I prefer energetic ones (even if mixture of both of these types of songs are amazing).

So, I've been looking at the italicised O's/zeroes in the lyrics printed on Taylor's three Patient Zero single CD variants, and I think I've found something ...

Using the positions of the words containing italicised O's, I've managed to extract 12 letters which are an exact anagram of “FREE THE MUSIC”.

IN ADDITION, the number of Italicised O's, the number of words containing them, and the number of remaining words are 13, 12 and 26.

As in 13 December 2026...

Can someone please call shotgun in this clown car and see if my workings make sense!! Here I go:

PART 1: The letters

CD 1:

“WHEN THE TOXINS TAKE THEIR HOLD, YOU’D RATHER DIE THAN LET IT GO.”

There are four italicised O's, appearing in word 3, word 6, word 7, and word 13.

Here's the method: take the position of each word containing an italicised O, then find the letter at that same numerical position from the beginning of the entire lyric (ignoring spaces and punctuation).

e.g. TOXINS is the third word, and the third letter of the complete phrase is E. HOLD is the sixth word, and the sixth letter is H.

So :

Words 3, 6, 7, 13 = Lettters: E H E S

CD 2:

“BUT IF YOU’RE SICK OF HIM, I GOT YOU, I WAS PATIENT ZERO.”

Five italisiced O's appear in words 3, 5, 8, 9 and 13.

Using exactly the same method:

3, 5, 8, 9, 13 = T F U R C

CD 3:

“TAKE IT FROM SOMEBODY WHO LOST HIS GAMES BUT WON THE RACE.”

This one is particularly interesting.

There are four italicised O's, but they appear in only THREE words:

• SOMEBODY — word 4 (two underlined O's)
• WHO — word 5
• WON — word 10

Using the same method:

4, 5, 10 = E I M

PART 2: Putting the letters together

Combining all three CDs gives us:

E H E S T F U R C E I M

Rearrange those twelve letters and you get:

F R E E T H E M U S I C

FREE THE MUSIC.

PART 3: The numbers — 13/12/26?

Looking at all three CDs together ... and keeping SOMEBODY as one word:

Words without underlined O's |9 |8 |9 So we have:

13 O's in italics.

12 words containing them.

26 words without them.

(NB: The distinction between 13 O's in italics and 12 marked words is entirely down to SOMEBODY containing two underlined O's. Without that, the numerical pattern wouldn't work in quite the same way).

And those 12 marked words are also what give us the 12 letters for “FREE THE MUSIC”.

PART 4: What could it mean?

My working theory is that the CDs are concealing a message and a date:

“FREE THE MUSIC — 13.12.26”

Could this be pointing towards a release of something from the vault???

Is there something I'm missing??
