I tried to build a grand Gothic estate with vampire and dark academia vibes. The vision was a dark, mysterious, and romantic atmosphere featuring stone architecture, red velvet accents, gargoyles, a cemetery, and a subterranean crypt with coffins. Fully furnished and NO CC!!

Well, look who's back. Yea. I haven't done much. Being busy and all that. Anyway, my progresses on Owasco, based on Ithaca, NY. Basically, I'm trying to expand on Pleasantview, which is basically based on Geneva in my head. Welp, here are some of the buildings that has been finished currently. My Sim's hygiene is really low, and he's been standing outside in the rain, but his hygiene bar isn't going up. I thought the rain might help a little. Is this normal in The Sims 2, or am I misunderstanding how it works?

I'm breeding these sims like race horses. I will never stop. They will keep multiplying until the sun goes out and earth blows up.

Was going to push this back until Christmas to release this, but after some cancelled plans, I had nothing better to do so decided to work on this. I had been working on this alongside my recent Pumpkin project, and I'm really quite proud of this one.

This is a FULLY converted object from the Sims 3, with converted animations, sounds, prizes and gameplay! I'm really quite proud of this one as I ended up discovering new animation techniques when making them, namely the art of blending animations from two different games (No more 3t2 hand syndrome - yeyyyy).

I made them all using the Pooklet method, and some of them have LTWs from this mod by Lamare. Now I'm thinking of making some townies bc I loved making Sims that way lol

One of my sims (Kristen Singles) befriended Samantha Ottomas at work. So I decided to add them in since I survived the Newson family and they'll have 3 grown-ups and a teen when the twins get here. Tell me your stories of playing this family, please? What do you name the twins? If they are girls, I'm thinking Amy and Dawn. If they are boys, Mark and Henry. If I get one of each, I'll probably go Amy and Mark.

Edit: They were a boy and girl, so I named them Amy and Mark. I've noticed that everyone in this family wants to eat omelets daily which is interesting to me. I know that both Buck and Tank's favorite food is spaghetti, but I've never seen a whole family favoriting the same thing before. David wants to befriend Juan Toyonaga, a gawky looking light redhead generated by the game. I've decided that this kid was adopted by a family where one parent is Japanese and the other is Mexican. He looks like a voice break with a bobbing adam's apple.

Because it gets a little bit annoying when you have a door and window you like but they don’t come with the same colour swatches

Even if you use the Visitor Controller, community lots attract the most random people, I swear... Anyway, enjoy these two dweebs competing for the local girlboss' affection. She seems vaguely amused by the situation. She danced for two hours straight with them then went straight home to her husband without giving them so much as a look, lol

So I still haven’t really mastered how to get the family closer for photos but I did play around with some pose boxes / actions and what I did get for a first attempt was a nice try!

Also bc I used the prtscreen option on my acer nitro I didn’t get to have these shots become portraits they could use around the house lol

Hi everyone! Long-time reader, first-time poster here 👋🏼
I was wondering if anyone knows of a mod that changes how inventory works in The Sims 2, specifically how certain items are grouped together.
For example, let’s say my Sim crafts a mixed flower bouquet using yellow flowers in a pink vase and customizes it with a specific name. Later, they make another bouquet using pink flowers in a blue vase and give it a different name.
What bothers me is that the game still treats both bouquets as the same item in the inventory, even though they look different and have different names. I’d love for them to show up as separate items instead of being grouped together.
Is there a mod that could do this, or perhaps a workaround I haven’t come across yet?

I’ve had this game since it was released. It’s worked fine with no issues. I tried to play it this week, and every time I load the game It does this. I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled, repaired the game through the EA app, and I have OneDrive disabled. Can anyone help 😅
