Hi everyone! Spring Creek Kennel & Cattery is a family-owned dog and cat boarding facility in Spring Valley, and we're looking for an experienced, dependable kennel attendant to join our team!

This is a hands-on job for someone who genuinely loves animals and has experience caring for both dogs and cats. It's rewarding work, but it's also physical, fast-paced, and involves a lot of cleaning, so we're looking for someone who's ready to jump in and be part of a team.

🐾 What you'll be doing:

• Caring for dogs and cats of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments
• Feeding, watering, exercising, and administering medications to pets
• Cleaning kennels, washing dishes, mopping, vacuuming, doing laundry, and handling other daily cleaning tasks
• Giving baths, flea baths, and nail trims when needed
• Safely handling large, strong, or difficult-to-manage animals
• Helping keep our facility clean, safe, and comfortable for every pet
• Working with the team to make sure all our guests receive great care

What we're looking for:

• Previous hands-on experience with BOTH dogs and cats of all breeds and ages
• Open availability to work any shift, including Saturdays, Sundays, AND ALL holidays. Sunday availability is a must!
• Someone comfortable administering medications, including giving pills to pets
• A dependable team player who can also work independently
• Someone who stays calm, positive, and professional during busy or stressful situations
• Ability to swim (one of our locations has a pool)
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
• Reliable transportation and a working phone
• Comfortable working around animal hair and dander

This job is best suited for someone who's energetic, hardworking, dependable, and genuinely puts animal welfare first. Kennel work isn't all playing with puppies — there's plenty of cleaning and physical work involved, too!

I’m a tour guide through a company here in town and I need the reps. I know the material and I enjoy talking to groups but for some reason I’m not performing the way I want to.

I have been giving pub tours in the Gaslamp for two years now and can give that specific one easily.

My need for practice is your gain. You can tell your date that you booked a private tour for him/her/them and at worst it is just alright. My last one wasn’t bad but I definitely need the reps.

Also I want to emphasize that I will not turn down tips, but know that this is a dress rehearsal. I’m honestly just trying to get reps in so that I can do my actually paid tours smoothly. I will probably stumble over words, forget some dates or names, and accidentally repeat myself. You are doing me a favor just by being an audience.

I will continue to give free Haunted Tours through the rest of October and maybe even beyond! I will also be offering free tours to hostels and hotels after October, so thank you for inspiring me to see how far I can go with this.
