Looking for Nicorette Lozenges in Kigali / Rwanda (Not the gum)

Hey everyone,

I’m currently trying to find Nicorette lozenges (preferably 4mg) anywhere in Kigali or across Rwanda.

I know some pharmacies carry the Nicorette gum or patches, but I specifically need the lozenges/mints.

Does anyone know of a pharmacy in Kigali (e.g., Kipharma, Pharmacie Conseil, Rite Health, etc.) that regularly keeps them in stock? Or is there a reliable delivery service/importer you’ve used to get them?

Appreciate any leads! Thanks in advance.

My family is selling 10,000 m² in Jabana, Kigali. 24 government-approved plots, asking 750M RWF

Hey everyone,

I’m helping my parents sell a piece of land our family owns in Jabana, Gasabo, Kigali.

It’s approximately 10,000 m², and the government has already approved the subdivision into 24 plots, including internal roads. We have the approved plan and supporting documents available.

A few details:
Location: Jabana, Gasabo, Kigali
Total land: Approximately 10,000 m²
Subdivision: 24 government-approved plots
Roads: Internal roads included in the approved subdivision
Access: Approximately 5 minutes from a secondary road and 15 minutes from the main road
Documentation: Approved subdivision plan available
Price: 750M RWF, negotiable

The individual plots don’t have separate titles yet. We’re happy to explain the current registration status and share the relevant documents with serious buyers.

We’re primarily looking for someone interested in purchasing the entire property, ideally a developer or investor, rather than selling the plots individually.

I’m representing my family directly, so you would be dealing with the owners rather than going through multiple intermediaries.

If you’re interested, or know someone actively looking for land of this size in Kigali, feel free to DM me. I can share the exact location, subdivision plan, and arrange a site visit.

If you’re a broker with an actual buyer looking for something in this range, I’m happy to hear from you too.

Thanks!

Where can small companies find fresh graduates for free recruitment? (Science, Engineering, and Other Fields)

Thumbnail

Hi everyone!

I’m looking for recommendations on platforms, online communities, or groups where companies can advertise job opportunities and connect with fresh graduates across different fields, including:

  • Sciences: Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Laboratory Sciences, etc.
  • Engineering: Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering, HVAC, and related fields.
  • Other fields: Business Administration, Accounting, IT, Supply Chain, HR, and more.

I’m particularly interested in free recruitment sources that small companies, factories, and industries can use to reach fresh graduates who are looking for their first job or practical work experience.

For companies with frequent recruitment needs and multiple entry-level positions, paid job boards and recruitment agencies can become expensive. I’d love to learn about alternatives, such as university career offices, graduate WhatsApp or Telegram groups, LinkedIn communities, Facebook groups, Reddit communities, professional associations, and other platforms where employers can share vacancies without paying advertising fees.

My questions are:

  1. Which platforms or groups allow employers to post job vacancies for free?
  2. Are there university networks or graduate communities that cover multiple academic fields?
  3. Which sources work best for companies that need to recruit graduates regularly for factory, laboratory, technical, and administrative positions?
  4. Are there any platforms where employers can build a pool of candidates for future vacancies?

I’d especially appreciate recommendations for Rwanda and other African countries, but international suggestions are also welcome.

Thank you for sharing your experiences and recommendations!

Have you heard of AmaliTech in Rwanda

I'm fresh cs graduate (3 months)

I'm working in company in kigali that implement ERP systems for organisations, I go to trips and prepare PRDs and technical proposals, also I handle some coding works when they need custom features

Is not the type of work I wanted but I can't complain

But I want to do something different and not just working with ERP

I came across AmaliTech post in linkedin about 6 monthes paid internship starting at January, I'm wondering if it's worth it to leave my current job and explore this opportunity, they seem to have nice tracks in software engineering and data science

What do you think about AmaliTech internship programme?

Is it good enough?

Do you advise me to explore this opportunity and leave my job?

Thank you for your opinion

Uganda trip briefing, day one. 🇺🇬

Before every journey, we like to get the group together to set expectations: the itinerary, the logistics, and what makes this trip special. We walk the team through what's ahead, from gorilla trekking in Bwindi to the Nile and everything in between.

Great trips start with clear communication and a shared sense of purpose. Excited to get moving.

Kigali, what if finding people to do things with was actually easy?

Have you ever wanted to try a new activity, attend an interesting event, meet like-minded people, or join a community in Kigali, but didn’t know where to start?
Maybe you’ve spent time scrolling through Instagram, checking random WhatsApp groups, or asking around just to find out what’s happening in the city. Sometimes, you discover an interesting event only after it’s already over. 😅
That’s one of the problems we’re trying to solve with ActivityBud. 🇷🇼
ActivityBud is a platform designed to help people in Kigali discover, create, and join meaningful activities, events, and communities with people who share similar interests, goals, and mindsets.
Whether you’re into fitness, entrepreneurship, outdoor adventures, networking, learning new skills, or simply meeting new people, the idea is to make finding your people and your next experience easier.
Instead of searching all over social media, imagine having one place where you can discover what’s happening, create your own activities, and connect with people who actually want to do the same things you do.
🚀 We’re preparing to launch in Kigali, and we’re inviting our founding members to join the waitlist early.
Founding members will get premium access as part of our early community.
If you’re in Kigali and think this is something you’d use, we’d love to have you on board.
👉 Join the waitlist: Waitlist
Let’s make it easier to connect, explore, and do more together.

Rwanda already has green-building requirements and guidelines. Are developers and property buyers sufficiently aware of them, and how much are these standards actually influencing what is being built today?

Is there any way to utilise religion to actually benefit the country?

Disclaimer: If you know you're going to deny the harm religion causes in this country, your opinion isn't needed. Your inability to comprehend the fact that religion has in fact been harmful—and will continue to be harmful if action isn't taken—is not wanted in this discussion. Thank you.

I think it's very clear that religion has been detrimental to Rwanda and Rwandans. It has caused division, discrimination, and harmful mindsets.

There is no denying that it can be used to push certain agendas because of how influential it is, and there is almost a 100% chance that it would succeed, no matter how harmful that agenda might be.

For now, the ones exploiting it are the so-called 'apostles' and religious leaders seeking money and influence in society. That is largely because our government has always been on the lookout for its citizens, but we know many people are still vulnerable to them.

Even though religion has brought some benefits, they pale in comparison to the problems it causes.

And to be honest, it's very clear that our society is never going to let go of it completely. So, my question is: since religion is already so deeply integrated into our culture, is there any way to use it to actually benefit Rwandans instead of whatever it's doing right now? Can we use religious texts to sway people into actively contributing to the development of the country? Can leaders and influencers start using religion for good instead of causing complacency or division? How and when do we start treating religion like the powerful tool it is?
