Does anyone have the finishers jacket from a prior year? I’m trying to decide what size to order but the company selling them (runpacers) says they don’t have a size chart. I’m considering women’s small vs medium vs men’s small so any insight would be helpful.

How many corrals are there for the MCM?

After a stint with triathlon training, looking to get back into serious running shape. Looking for recommendations for a running coach in the DC area. Ideally someone who works with runners training for half marathons and marathons, as hoping to target PRs in both distances next year.

Hi everyone! I am supposed to run the mcm marathon on the 25th, this will be my second full. I did an ironman 70.3 at the end of july, took a week off to recover, and then started a 12 week block. My peak long run was 18 miles (with about a 10 minute break around mile 9 to switch out wet socks and sneakers from blisters due to a rainy long run). I run 4 times a week total including my long run. I haven't ran since last wednesday due to quad pain, doctor thinks it is a stress reaction and getting an mri but gave me the okay to run as long as it doesnt hurt. I am worried that this week off has derailed my training and I am worried about the time cutoff now. My 18 mile long run was at a 13:42 pace (I am a slow runner just there for the vibes!). I know we have the gauntlets to meet and this year they are doing 14 person corrals but I am not sure what time I will get across the start line. I am getting back into light running until race day but worried about missing a gauntlet. Does anyone have any insight in the timing? Will taking this past week off derail my fitness? I am okay with my goal just being to finish at this point!

Can’t find a ton of details about this, but I wanted a race to train for after the ATM. Has anyone done this race? Any thoughts on it? It looks fairly new though I see that it might have been run in 2025…

Hi! I am running the MCM for the first time (second marathon) this year! Does anyone know when we will get assigned corral info/ start times? Would love any advice anyone has going into the marathon! Coming in from NYC on Saturday!

Will there be any big brand pop ups for Marine Corps this year? It’s really awesome seeing all the big brands activating in Chicago this weekend. If only they would show a little love for DC.

We will be coming to town early April for spring break. My son (14 years old) and I would love to run the Cherry Blossom 10. This would be a once in a lifetime opportunity for us as we will not be coming back to the capital any time soon after this trip (Nothing against DC, just like visiting different places. I know the lottery has hot opened up yet, but wondering what thoughts are about my son and I joining another lottery group or just making out own group with just the two of us.

Anyone know if I can park at Fort Myer to get to the start line? Since the finish line is by one of the gates, I figure I can just go through there and up the hill to get to my car once we’re done. Mainly curious about getting to the start line.

The website says it's a 15 min walk from the Crystal Gateway Marriott. But it looks like I could also take the metro from the Crystal City stop to the Pentagon stop.

Which is better / less hassle?

I’m in wave 1 and confused why the website says the wave can be accessed between 6:20 and 6:40am. Will it close after that? I’m planning to get there early, but in my corral 80mins before the start (in the rain) sounds a bit excessive. Am I just misinterpreting the website?

...is absolute ass. iOS version on my IPad does't let you create an account, sign-in, go to settings, or even change events (so you better make sure the ATM is all you're interested in because you won't be able to see any other events that have unfortunately partnered with the company responsible for this app). I can't even install this app on my Samsung Galaxy S24+ (not a new phone, but not an ancient phone either). Reason: "this app isn't available because it was made for an older version of Android." My phone is running Samsung's One UI 8.5 - again, not a particularly old OS, but not the cutting edge, also installed on literally millions of phones in the U.S.

Genuinely shocked that this is the app that the race organizers want you to install (assuming you're even allowed to). Glad the 2026 MCM went with another app developer and has a functioning (and functional) app.

Hi all! We'll be supporting three family members running the Marine Corps Marathon. We've never participated in a marathon or been spectators. I'd like to know how to best support our family members.

My biggest question is how do we follow them along the route? We have the MCM app downloaded and I've added the three of them to my Tracker. Do we literally just follow where they are and use the Metro to get to another new spot along the route to see them? I'm of course planning to make a sign! And we'll ask them if there are supplies we need to carry for them that they'll need at the end of the race.

2026 will be my 10th MCM and I think this is by far the best race shirt or jacket they’ve done. Really nice navy color with a sort of retro design on the back. Can’t wait to break it out after the race 🙌

Hey guys I live in DC but escaping to Springfield in the afternoon to grab my bib with a work colleague. Looks like I can grab some bibs for people if they need them. Happy to get people directions to my place for you to grab in DC Saturday or meet up in the city if I’m out and about. Happy to also show I’m a legit human in DC bc I know this is kind of odd haha. Just a heads up. This is my first ATM but I’ve done a few local half marathons in the pouring rain before and I can positively say that I do not enjoy it. Something to look out for as we get closer to race day.

This will be my first ATM and I'm curious about the general ambiance of the race itself. Is there much political ranting from the speakers/sponsors? Are there any protests that happen along the route?

Do people tend to wave political banners or is everyone neutral and more focused on the hard working folks in our armed forces?
