Hey all, Earlier in the summer I wouldnt even attempt rolling up this quarterpipe so I consider it progress but Ive stalled here. Not sure if its a mental thing where I keep bailing on it or technique or both or something else? Any tips appreciated !

I took my broken trucks into my local skate shop where I bought them (Shout out to Scenic in Huntingdon), and Jason (the owner) got me a new set of trucks from Slappy 💪💪💪

Took some of your advice too and got myself a set of Indies while I was at the shop + a new Opera deck (why not eh)

I figure this crowd can relate… this is my first and only skateboard back from 2001 that I retired way too early. It taunts me every time I step foot into my office 😭

What’s up legends!? After more than 20 years off skateboards, I’ve decided I want to give it a go again. I’m looking at ordering a setup online and was wondering if anyone has any advice?

I was looking at a Globe 8.25” deck and possibly running some slightly softer and larger wheels (maybe 95a 55mm??). At this stage I just want to get comfortable back on the board, then work into some flat ground tricks and maybe some skate park shenanigans later.

The Dr. gave me the clear to skate again a couple weeks ago. Built an a-frame to get brave on. I'm still pulling my pop, but I'm getting some thing back.

10” popsicle on the mini today. First time doing a fakie flip rock/disaster/hang up whatever you wanna call it.

Driveway is an 8% grade though so it makes it more like a 1.5ft quarter 😂

Castor wheels were my addition to make it easy to move solo 👌 shame my garage roof is so low otherwise it would be perfect in there 😭

It's been a wild summer... I finally have a chance to start skating again..

I had these locked in back in the day. I added some angle iron to my little manny pad and figured I'd try them out again this morning, 20 years later. No land yet, but at least I can still get into them! More speed + less heel drag and I have them for sure. Pretty sure I'm popping them high enough for my taller box..
