Always? I'm sure someone does it with lasers nowadays, but always doesn't belong in that sentence. People have been aligning chairs for centuries longer than we have been shooting lasers.

Well, I bigger complaint about my comment would be, have I really ever thought about it, which I haven't. Ever. I just wanted to say that lasers would be fun. I'm sure the Greeks and the Egyptians used a sundial or something
