Since you've been enjoying Ruri lately, here's a splash art we've been working on, I hope you like it !

I posted Ruri’s dialogue sprites here yesterday and the response was really nice, so here’s one of her actual scenes from the game we’re working on.

We decided to give her an armpit scene because it somehow felt way too fitting for her lazy, smug personality lol

She's Ruri, a catgirl character from a game I'm currently working on.

She's supposed to be pretty lazy, low-energy and a little smug, the kind of girl who would rather find literally any excuse than do the job she's supposed to be doing.

These are some of the dialogue sprites we're using for her, and I'd love to get some feedback on the character design itself.

Does her personality come across just from the design and expressions? Is there anything you would change or push a little further?

Also, which expression do you think fits her the best?
