i had such high hopes... ended up just chudding and not studying at all

I know the answer is to be situationally aware. But when I go to the gym and I have a hard time deciphering if I had a chance with this guy. I know men deal with the sort of anxiety around rejection, so I'm looking for suggestions as an introverted person. I feel like he's very attractive, but I haven't had the opportunity to do anything other than make eye contact with him. Like many guys, my worst fear is for them to think, "aaaa look at chopped shit coming at me" lol.

Does anyone know any lab or anyone hiring on campus? I really need a job and have tons of research experience as a volunteer. I have some financial issues and am unable to support myself anymore and I have tested all possible resources out there yet nothing... Please if anyone has a connection I would really appreciate it.

what's mac's rationale in reducing library hours during reading week?

Would anyone be interested in a traitors club here at mcmaster. It could be like a weekly thing just like the show, we'll have a challenge, a round table vote, and then the traitors will eliminate someone as well. It would be like a massive game of werewolf. I think this could be so fun if people are interested and its organized right??!!

Yall I've tried to join clubs that I'm interested in but like I don't know what the issue is, it's like they have no memberships? 😭 like I wanna join McMasr but idk how... and I'm in the discord server for artists at mac but there haven't been any events or meet ups, is there a reason for that? Sorry, I'm rlly new to this!!

If we can get at least 2 more teams together, the league is good to go. Would seriously suck if hockey got cancelled this season, so let's make it happen! Got a squad? Round up your buddies and register a team on IMLeagues asap. Looking for a team? Drop a comment below to link up with others

I’m a second year PNB student here at Mac, but I’m also an amateur novelist and poet. I’m in the process of creating the McMaster Aspiring Authours Society to inspire a new generation of young creative fiction writers here at Mac.

Our club is dedicated to sharing, exchanging and critiquing pieces of original fiction written by and for McMaster students WITHOUT AI!

Unlike other creative writing clubs, we will operate completely online through Discord, which makes it super easy to participate even if you don’t have a lot of time.

If you’re interested in creative writing or giving peer feedback, this is the club to join. The club plans on starting by the beginning of the 2027-2028 academic year.

I bought the ticket but just found out I won’t be able to make it and I’m wondering if anyone would buy it off of me
They are currently going for 50$, willing to sell for $45 (negotiable)

When I was in my early 20s, and I was in undergrad (I'm now in my early 30s), for one Halloween, my anime-looking Korean friend who I've known since childhood, she's the same age as me, dressed up in this sexy rabbit costume, and she didn't wear exactly the clothes in this pic but when she wore the rabbit costume she did look like this anime girl figurine. You know. She is a sexual abuse victim though so I'm not sure if I'll ever be lucky enough to get in her pants

My midterms coming up on the 30th, and there's js an overwhelming amt of information and I can barely find any practice (aside from weekly quizzes and connect qs) so I've been uploading notes into ai asking it to make me mock tests. Anyone who's taken this course, what kind of questions should I ask ai to make? 1-2 examples would be great!:)

Also, if anyone has flashcards they'd be willing to share, I'd appreciate it so much thanks!

How’s everyone studying for the midterm? I feel so lost, i haven’t been to a single lecture

Got my N1F03 (PBL) midterm on friday and im pretty nervous for it ngl. Was wondering if any upper years could give me insight to the difficulty of the midterm, what types of questions are asked, and any useful information honestly.

Anything is greatly appreciated, thank you.

Is it a tradition for this degree to be this hard I'm struggling and dying. Send help!

has anyone been to the climbing wall before? are there folks to help you get set up with harnesses or is that something you need to figure out/bring on your own? i've free climbed different weird rock structures before during the summer but they were all outdoors and never indoors so i wanna try it out and am wondering what the process is like to use mac's climbing wall. also (this such a dumb question omg im sorry) do i climb down the wall or jump down? just cause irl i have to climb down but ive seen people jump off the wall online so i wanna know 😭

Do people actually get into the PA program from unrelated degrees and no relevant volunteer and/or work experience? Or is the absence of these requirements just for the uni to farm $150 from people who have no chance of getting in?

I’m a current grade 12 student trying to explore my options for uni. I am considering applying to Mac life sci and Waterloo life sci. For current first years who are at Mac, how are you liking it so far? I heard life sci is hard to maintain a high gpa in first year compared to other unis like Waterloo. I am honestly someone that doesn’t really know what I want to do after undergrad so I was leaning more toward Mac life sci but I also want to be in a program that helps maximize my gpa and keep as many options open. For any upper years reading this, if you could go back would you choose this program again or go to a different school? Any advice would be greatly appreciated I feel so lost :’)

Hi guys, could anyone who had Dr. VGRM as a prof for LIFESCI 2cc3 give me tips on how to study efficiently and do well on the midterm? And does anyone already have anki cards/quizlet for this class that cover all the material needed for midterm 1? If you could share them it would be greatly appreciated!

How does MSAFing a midterm work if you have to book your midterm with SAS? I am thinking of using my self-report MSAF on a midterm that I don’t think I’ll be ready for as I have two the two days before.

I know you get charged $50 if you cancel your booking but I wonder if it’ll be flagged as anything weird if I don’t book my midterm at all, or if just book the makeup option that they have posted already on the portal.

Has anyone done this before? Thanks!

course code is HTHSCI 1H06 (Human Anatomy and Physiology I (A)

i’ve been studying based on the key terms/concepts he posts, but i was wondering if anyone has advice on this?
