Mutants RUMOR : Street Fighter Actor and WWE Wrestler Cody Rhodes accidentally let's slip that he might be cast in Marvel's X-Men Reboot
Segment starts at 1:08
At the 1:29 mark, Rhodes is talking about his various nerd interests, and says what sure sounds like “I’m in X-Men.” His co-star in Street Fighter Andrew Schulz, reacts immediately, saying “Wait, you are?", and then, as Rhodes carries on as if all is normal, says he thought Rhodes had just “made an announcement” of some kind. If Rhodes realized what he’d said, he maintained a great poker face and managed to carry on the interview without missing a beat.

MCU Future Brad Winderbaum on Young Avengers: "There's a lot of stuff we're trying to make. But for a million reasons, not everything makes it to the screen. You keep trying to push the things you love forward. Sometimes you know you're sitting on something great and it takes a long time, and it hurts"
SUMMARY
Brandon and Brad discuss Brad's journey through New York Comic-Con in 2026 days after being on stage for Marvel Zombies and Zodiac announcements, Daredevil: Born Again which brought out most of the Defenders, VisionQuest which shared its first episode and had the cast on stage.
With Winderbaum now overseeing Marvel Comics, the conversation also touches on new Editor-in-Chief Steve Wacker's plans, the Midnight line, and more.
This episode also discussed the first two episodes of VisionQuest (with a clear spoiler warning).
Podcast is fully timestamped.
Young Avengers starts @ 35:39
Brandon Davis : "Let's say hypothetically Lisa—that's a name of a character that could be another Young Avenger, yes. So I'm—I'm just going to name a few people here, you tell me if any of these people have anything in common: *Tommy Maximoff, Billy Maximoff, Kate Bishop, Kamala Khan, Lisa*. They all have been a part of something together. I feel like through the years the common thread of introductions on Marvel TV, there's a lot of Young Avengers floating around. And getting to do maybe a couple of them in *Vision Quest..."*
Brad Winderbaum : "That is definitely true."
Brandon Davis : "Yes. Are you conscious of that? Like do you, because you know we're all going to think about it. Like as fans, we're all going to go Young Avengers as soon as you hear the names. But you have to—like you can't tip your hand too much because I don't know, like how do you—how do you walk that line of expectations versus what we're able to do right here and all that kind of stuff?"
Brad Winderbaum : "Let me yell you how it works. You know, I get to develop a lot of cool ideas. Yeah. And you imagine like being in my position and being a fan of stuff and being like, 'Okay, that's awesome and that's awesome, and like let's try to make it.' So there's like a lot of stuff like we're always trying to make, you know, but it's a, Hollywood's a funnel. Like not everything makes it for a million reasons, not everything makes it to the screen. And I've had my heart broken like so many times, that's the business. But like you keep trying to push the things you love forward, and you know, sometimes you're able to make Vision Quest. And like, sometimes there's things that like sit around for a while and all of a sudden pop and they go, and you're like, 'Oh my god, I can't believe this is real.' And sometimes, you're sitting on something great and it takes a long time, and you know it hurts. Yeah. Oh man, sorry if that's too much information."

Daredevil Brad Winderbaum on Daredevil: Born Again ending with Season 3: “The plan was always to culminate at 3, because the way we’re looking at it, the original series is 3 seasons, Born Again is 3 seasons … We will take a breath and figure out what’s next for the character.”

Rumor Moira MacTaggert, Nightcrawler and Gambit are currently being cast for Marvel's X-Men Movie
"I have some X-Men casting scoop to pass along this week. Rumors have been circulating for a while that Marvel Studios is casting for the role of Bobby Drake/Iceman, but I can report that the studio is reading candidates for three more roles: Moira MacTaggert, Nightcrawler, and Gambit. Don’t be surprised if at least one of these castings becomes official in the near future".

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Showrunner Jeff Trammell confirms that Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man S4 is in the work.
At New York Comic Con, Collider's Maggie Lovitt spoke to Trammell about Season 2 and the future of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, asking how far ahead he is with the show heading into Season 2. Unsurprisingly, Season 3 is already in progress to ensure the wait isn't as long as it was this time around, though there have been reports that Season 4 was also greenlit. Trammell directly confirmed that there was indeed progress being made on the next two seasons, even though an official renewal after Season 3 hasn't been announced by Marvel yet. "I don't know what I can say, and no one's stopping me, so I'm gonna say we're already working on Seasons 3 and 4 of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man," he revealed. That means this version of the wall-crawler could be sticking around for quite a while, so long as viewers keep tuning in.
