Like most of you i'm excited to get likes of Doom, Green Goblin, Ghost Rider or Captain Marvel eventually. However Rivals is doing really good at showcasing some less known characters and giving them new fans. I personally would love to see Absorbing Man, Hit-Monkey (prefferably with Bryce), Reptil and Beetle (either version)

Will I make more of these videos? Probably. Idk how soon, but... probably.

After seeing loads of negative posts about the state of this game lately, I completely understand the frustration. Is Rivals dying? No. Is it in a good state right now? Also no.

Between the declining player count, the first mid-season without a new hero, questionable balance changes, and the devs announcing that they’re prioritizing LTMs over new heroes , I get why people are losing their enthusiasm. I also think the devs might be overworked and have a lot on their plate right now, especially with Disney involved, but that doesn’t mean we should ignore the game’s problems.

Personally, I’m not enjoying Rivals much right now either. And this is coming from someone who has Jean as their most-played DPS. I could go on and on about the current state of the game, but hundreds of other posts have already covered those issues.

My point is, it’s okay to love this game, want it to improve, and still take a break from it.
I’ve stopped playing ranked, rarely touch QP, and mostly play 18v18 these days because, honestly, that mode is really fun. I’ve also installed other games and started spending more of my time playing them. I’m still passionate about Rivals, and I’ll absolutely play it more when things improve, but I’m not going to force myself to play something I’m not enjoying just because I love it.

So, if you’re not having a good time right now, take a break. Play something else, explore other games, and come back when you feel like it. There’s no point turning a hobby into another source of frustration. Prioritize your mental health and remember that you don’t owe any game your time.

And just to be clear, this isn’t me saying people should stop criticizing the game or blindly accept bad decisions. Constructive criticism is absolutely valid, and the devs should be held accountable for the direction they’re taking. Wanting a game to succeed sometimes means being vocal when things aren’t going well.(just in a civil and respectful way)

I just don’t think you need to keep playing a game you’re currently unhappy with to prove that you care about it. You can criticize it, take a break, and still hope it gets better.

Hopefully, Rivals gets back on track soon. I genuinely want to see this game succeed.

Let's start with the current topic: I love gambling when it's not real money and has no consequences. the three past gachas, I've spent roughly 1800 free units and got all three: Witch, Luna, and Jube. I think the system is great; you can stop buying them, or give it like two shots, then call it. Next topic: yes, the game balance can be terrible; yes, the toxicity is bad. Number one: mute people; number two: that's why we have bans; number three: I like chaos; number 4 im kinda a crazy man. Go back to that 5-minute-long fight for point; do you want people to just walk over and not have a chance because someone is playing the better character? This is just me; I love moments like that. I compete for my college, and that happens more than you think. I love it; it's so nice to win those fights off a hero play, or by punishing one mistake the other team makes. I understand the clip is more so showing supports being busted; oh no, everyone was playing nearly perfectly; what if someone missed a CD timing, or missed too many shots? Yes, I'm crazy; yes, I am off my leash. Yes, I'm being naive; yes, I'm yapping too much; yes, I'm taking comments too seriously; yes, I'm not the highest rank; yes, I have less than 1000 hours; yes, I'm done talking. My points still stand.
