Hi everyone! I'm curious about how MAKAUT students prepare for exams and whether AI tools are actually helping.

A few quick questions:

1. Do you use ChatGPT or other AI tools for studying? If yes, what do you use them for?
2. Which study resources do you rely on most — MyWBUT, MAKstudy, YouTube, notes, or something else?
3. What's your biggest challenge when studying a difficult subject or preparing for semester exams?
4. What do you wish AI tools or existing study websites did better?

I'm exploring an idea for an AI-powered learning platform for students, but I'd like to understand your real experiences before deciding what to build.

Even a short answer would be really helpful! I'd love to hear from students across different semesters and departments.

Thanks! 🙌

I did this blunder and i dont know what to do, i got my provisionak degree aleardy i had applied for exit in august only form 3rd year but still portal showed this and yesterday accidently this happened what to do

Before my 12th result I was reached by nshm dgp college which is affiliated to makaut, I took admission, and after results came , I got RT in physics , i didn't enquire as I was an overall pass . I gave my marksheet at college on the day of orientation to reception, and before orientation at a booth . Makaut registration happened and today I was called from college and they said about the RT , the call couldn't go on as I am on the train going home for puja , they told me to call after I get off the train. Am I gonna get removed from the college ?

We just need to sign some letter from our respective college. Join this WhatsApp group urgent https://chat.whatsapp.com/D8wpgOQu34a7ymauRj3ovZ?s=sw&p=a&mlu=4&ilr=4

Ig The backlog enrollment process for the odd sem was declared in end of September. But after that the form was not available on the MAKAUT website and there was no notice of backlog form enrollment.

So when will the enrollment process actually start?

Guys what will happen if I clear 3rd sem exams in my 5th sem but I get to know later on that I was supposed to submit IA CA and attend some classes too of 3rd sem. I don't want to do 4th year. Please help and suggest. The 5th sem exams are yet to happen.

Anyone who is going to give an entrance exam for a government college of art and craft kolkata, please connect I'm a non bengali who wants to give entrance of that exam but I don't know the procedure and everything

Let me explain. My friend who was already studying in pw vidyapeeth told me about nsat and said that he has given my name for the test.

I was hae what why wait ok

He told me more things about nsat i said ok will give the exam when it is he said 11

I was ok let's test myself I went to the centre at 11 o'clock and was given the test paper and completed it and submitted and I think I will get about 140 out of 160

But but I was not satisfied i came home thinking about giving the nsat again with another no

On 12 night I registered and took the exam and scored a perfect 160 out of 160

And just jump to gpt to confirm how much I will get scholarship

And he made me blank...

He said it's wrong according to the guild lines i single student can give nsat just once a year I did twice

He said my scholarship had a high chance to get cancelled...........

I study my whole from class 1 to 12 from West Bengal but my cast certificate and my parents voter ID Aadhar card from Bihar only my one Aadhar card is from here I don't have much proof of residency my college is telling me to have domicile with enough few days I as I was a private student in class 12 the form A2 is not applicable I think I don't want to also make domicile does it is compulsory because hod is telling that it is Link from my aadhar card if my addhar address is over west bengal I need to make it domicile doesn't it is true

If Someone has 1 back remaining in 8th semester....and has to wait till next year to clear it

Will the result show ..their intended year of passing or actual year of passing .

Like will the degree show 5 years ?

I have enrolled for M.Tech in CSE at NSEC, cuz it's near home. Before that I completed my B.Tech from an autonomous University at Sector V.

However, I am planning to appear for GATE again and try for admission in IITs, NITs, or IIITs next year. If I get a better opportunity, I will think of discontinue (or drop out) my current M.Tech programme.

But for that, will MAKAUT issue a new Migration Certificate from their side if I drop out??

Plz clear my doubt🙏🙏

Thanks in advance!

If I miss CA 1 (absent) but score 25/25 in CA 2, will I get 5/10 for the combined CA marks or 0/10? Can anyone clarify how the new MAKAUT marking scheme works?

Hi everyone!

I'm currently pursuing my B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering and will be graduating in 2027. I'm actively looking for internship opportunities where I can gain some real industry experience and learn how things actually work in a professional environment.

I'm mainly looking for opportunities in:

• Core ECE / Electronics

• Embedded Systems / IoT

• Electronics-related roles

• HR / Recruitment / Talent Acquisition

• HR Operations / Administration

• Operations or coordination roles

📍 Location preference:

Kolkata / Greater Kolkata would be ideal.

💻 I'm also very open to genuine remote/online internships.

A little about me:

• B.Tech ECE student, graduating in 2027

• Have academic/project exposure to IoT and electronics

• Have completed industrial training

• Experience hosting and coordinating college events and programmes

• Experience tutoring school students

• Comfortable with communication, presentations, coordination and working with people

• Familiar with basic technical concepts, but I'm primarily looking for an opportunity to learn and develop practical skills

At this stage, I'm less concerned about having a fancy title and more interested in getting genuine hands-on exposure, learning from people in the industry and understanding what working in a professional environment is actually like.

If anyone knows of startups, companies, small businesses, organisations or individuals offering internships in Kolkata or remotely — particularly in ECE/core electronics or HR/recruitment — I would really appreciate any leads or referrals.

I'm happy to share my CV over DM.

Thank you! :)

Thousands of students have already signed the petition against the new 70-mark ECA rule. The message is clear: remove the new ECA system and ensure fair, transparent evaluation.

AIDSO is also supporting this student movement and has stood with MAKAUT students in raising these concerns and protest has now been put forward as the next step.

Some students(with actual balls) from KGEC also reportedly met the VC or Controller of Exams(not sure) to raise the ECA issue and presented the petition. They were reportedly told that if enough students raise their concerns, the university may consider reviewing the rule.

We’ve signed. We’ve spoken. Now it’s time to stand together.

If you’re a MAKAUT student affected by these issues, join your fellow students and make your voice heard peacefully.

REMOVE THE NEW ECA RULE.
DEMAND FAIR EVALUATION.

How does Env SC (MCCH381) exam conduct?? Like do we have to give written 70 marks exam?? But it doesn't have any credit point tho also is it true that if we fail in that exam we will get year lag?

Mine showing application not live yet

Can someone send me pyqs, notes or any youtube playlist one can refer to study machine learning(ESC CSBS 502).

Hello everyone, I am 22 & currently pursuing 5th sem btech from tier 2.5 govt. Clg. My cgpa is 6.1 (3rd & 4th sem). I did my diploma in civil engineering from govt clg CGPA was 8.7 . I took cse in Btech . My clg is very strict about exam , even if I try my CA are very low about 10/25 and 14/25 . The lab number is also low like 27/25/22 . I am losing hope , even if I pass in my exam i am not sure if i will be able to sit in campusing because of my CGPA is very low. The new mark /Eca pattern seems worst . I am not sure even i really want to do this btech . Any suggestion what to do about this?
