Hi everyone.

Old player here, have played fortune's weave for a while and decided I wanted to play this kind of game on mobile and after remembering that fire emblem heroes is not up my alley, I decided to come back to my old friend Langrisser mobile.

But now that a new game has been announced I am a bit wary about spending time on the game because I'm not sure about the player base anymore. I used the links here but wikigrisser seems to be dead (the link redirects to some strange thing) and I don't even know if guides here are up to date.

I'm not exactly asking if it's a good idea or not to play the game. Most probably it's perfect for those who are already playing. The real question would be:

Is this game still at a point where it makes sense for a lvl 50 account to return and catch up, or would you say that at this point this is an effort not worth going through?

And if yes, what is the most up to date guide? because I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and I don't know what to pull or what to do. So for now I'm just doing daily missions while I try to catch up with everything, understand the news and get used to team building again.

Langrisser Mobile will undergo maintenance on October 15th at 01:00 (GMT-5). The maintenance process is expected to last for 1 hour, during which, commanders will not be able to log into the game. We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause! After the maintenance is completed, you'll be able to enter the game and continue your glorious adventure!

A small update to the BN website: regarding hero sorting.

In response to player requests, sorting by release date now lists the newest heroes first (we understand you are interested in new heroes and that scrolling to the bottom of the page every time is tedious).

Sorting functionality has also been added for mobile version.

https://bannernews.github.io/langrisser/index_en.html

A update to the BN website: a new "Covs./Sigs." section has been added. It will feature Covenants and Sigils.
Two types of Sigils are currently available: Einherjar and Meteorology.
Information regarding the Plateau will be available later.
A big thank you to our team members for their work: FoxPard, Rhasodos, Cire.
We also kept the Covenants table that Loules, Sindani, Rhapsodos, Gadelaza, and I worked on.

Very envious right now, seeing all these 10k+ strength characters and I’m struggling to even get an 8k. I max out bonds and equips when I can. The enchants are killing me. I feel like o blow through them and still don’t get the rolls I’m looking for. Luck of the draw I know but damn it gets old

I'm honestly so sick of not getting banner hero. Did pull rates get worse over the past couple years?? Like obviously everyone deals with it but got damn out of the probably 20 10x pulls I've done in the past month and a half I haven't pulled a banner hero. Like what the fuck. Just wanted to rant. Fuck me.

A general of the Kingdom of Caconsis, she is a guardian of seafarers and a hero who fights for peace.

She has faced the storm of despair, falling time and again within the life-devouring Black Fog of Chaos—yet always rising once more. Now, empowered by the sea, she breaks through the darkness and returns as Tidal Vindicator, her purpose unchanged—

Check out LLR Tidal Vindicator's strategy guide by 甘甘肝兴8!

Also, we've prepared a gift code for you: G2FXYXTSN. Don't forget to redeem it in the game 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱!

The EE is an armor for Laird, so now we know upgraded R units get one. This might mean a casting skill is coming soon for him.

HP +10%.

When attacking, damage taken by the unit is reduced by 5% for every tile moved before the battle (up to a maximum reduction of 15%). When using [Dragon Soul Resonance], if an ally named "Leon" is present, the cooldown of the next skill used by both yourself and "Leon" is reduced by 5 turns after dealing damage.

His 3C on a kill reduces Leon's longest cooldown by 5 and lets him act again. So the pattern is attack with Leon first and use his 3C. Then use Dragon Soul Resonance and get a kill with Laird's 3C. Leon's acts again with his 3C available to use again. At the end of turn, both of their 3Cs are still available. Dragon Soul Resonance will be on cooldown, so you can't do this every turn, but you both 3Cs will be available right away. Not amazing, but probably worth getting if you already wanted to use him.

Isolde gets the first new casting skill:

ATK +5%. If the enemy is not killed when using [Will of World Warden] (her 3C), this skill's cooldown is reduced by 5 rounds, and gains "the next active attack will ignore 15% of the enemy's defense when entering battle" (cannot be dispelled). ([Trigger cooldown] This effect can be triggered again after 2 turns)

The other is for Seraphina:

ATK +5%. At the end of the action, the cooldown of the damage skill with the longest cooldown will be reduced based on the number of units passed through by (up to 3 rounds reduced) and a mobility up buff will be obtained (maximum mobility +3), which lasts for 1 round.

Isolde's isn't super-powerful, but will be nice to have. If she acts again, picks yellow, and then uses her 3C on turn 1, but misses the kill, this will let her 3C again, which will get a kill on all but the strongest enemies. It also helps her against bosses. Seraphina's seems really strong, but I haven't used her so I can't say for sure.

There are the next two regular soldiers

Sky-Riding Singers (Flier)

All "Physical Damage" dealt by normal attacks is treated as "Magic Damage." When initiating combat, the unit performs a ranged attack alongside the hero, and damage dealt by the unit during combat is increased by 20%. If the unit has no debuffs, it applies an additional effect—"Cannot trigger [Resist Fatal Damage]"—lasting 1 turn (in non-PVP modes, this is replaced by "Damage Taken +20%").

Stats: 41/45/18/22

Goes to Narm, Cherie, Lance, Altemuller, Luna, Elaine, Apotheosis, Eshean, Isolde, Sovereign of Ice Abyss, Tyrantel, Brightsummoner

I'm honestly not sure what they're going for here. It looks like they're only really usable with ranged heroes, but most of the ones who get them are melee.

Royal Guard Knights (Cavalry)

Soldier ATK +30%. If another friendly unit equipped with this troop type is present on the battlefield, this unit's movement type changes to Terrain Master. If two or more other friendly units equipped with this troop type are present, this unit gains an additional +30% damage dealt in combat and takes 50% reduced damage.

Stats: 40/43/20/17

Goes to Matthew, Grenier, Leon, Elwin, Altemuller, Dieharte, Laird, Leticia, Landius, Brenda, Mystery Knight, Helena, Rozalia, Hilda, Elisse, Andriole, Sovereign of Ice Abyss, Rapier, Bianca, Cybele, Heaven Defier, Pure Zerida

Something they haven't really tried before. You could use it with an all cavalry team with Leon as the pseudo-faction buffer (and he has SSR Laird to go with it). Google translate confuses unit with soldier some of the time, but I think the last buff really is supposed be unit, which makes it a really strong boost.

The first SP soldier is Catapult. Stats go from 31/37/17/20 to 36/40/17/22, and talent goes from

Unit's normal attack range increased by 1. When attacking, unit damage decreases by 10%. 20% chance to deal a random debuff.

to

Unit range increased by 1. After attacking, deals an additional instance of [Fixed Damage] equal to 1x Hero's ATK + INT to the target and enemies within 1 tile. If there are allied units in the adjacent ring, the area of effect expands to that ring, and a debuff is guaranteed to be applied.

Stage 2 is Ilia, Brightsummoner, Broken-winged Bird, Liana, Renne

I think it now also gives +1 skill range, which makes it actually usable over Siege Ballista, which still will outdamage it. I can't tell if you get the debuff without an ally in range. Distribution isn't great, but LoG and Lucretia get this (and not SP Dark Alchemists), so I could see unlocking it for them. Also, base Zerida, which might be ok for her after she sacrifices her soldiers. Not sure why they'd give it to Ilia, who I don't think can benefit from the extra range when her angel is out.

The other is Steel Wing Warrior. Stats go from 43/45/22/22 to 43/45/23/23 (the smallest boost yet), and talent goes from

When attacking, soldier ATK +30%. When ranged attacked, soldier DEF and MDEF +30%.

to

When attacking, soldier ATK +30%. When attacked, soldier DEF and MDEF +30%. If there are other allied units within 2 tiles, takes 20% less AoE damage, and the soldiers deal 15% more damage.

Stage 2 is Sovereign of the Ice Abyss, Eshean, Elvis, Ora, Agnes

Makes them better on defense, but that's not that useful.

Another season, another forbidden battleground. Nothing too special about this battleground as of yet.

Long time warsong / langrisser fan here... I know this is mostly a Langrisser M place...

... but I bought Langrisser I & II recently on Steam and saw it doesn't have mouse support ... so I've fixed that.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rH0KVty-Rz8

It has edge scrolling support like any proper RTS.

It locks onto a unit and scrolls to it.

It has context aware icons when you move, attack, use magic...

I've tested it most of the way through Langrisser I so far...

What else should I add or is missing control wise?

I'm looking to get some feedback and get a few BETA testers before I release this and this is the most popular langrisser related place i know of...

Also Ive noticed that the game is very modabble... I've been working on a scenario / unit editor....

https://youtu.be/yW3ZuL_pymY

I had more stuff written here about it but it triggers the "looks like your are asking a question" and then I cant post.

I can create a campaign, new scenarios, have event triggers, create new units, swap sprites... create new classes... lots of stuff I am working on... show splash screens... show an image instead of just text... play a movie... change the time of day to night.... export base game unit art, import Spine artwork like Langrisser M characters... import sprite sheet characters...

But this is like a more long term thing and I am early in development...but I am just wondering if anyone really needs this or am i wasting my time building it?
