This is my girl Coco, photographed by me on our last trip together in Alicante, Spain. She was 13 when she died of cancer 3 month ago, with virtually no warning.

After losing her, I had this photo of her turned into a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle. I finished it in just 7 days, spending at least 8 hours a day on it. I didn’t keep track of the exact hours, but it gave me something to focus on during a time when I really needed it.

I ordered it from PuzzleYOU. I’d recommend them for simpler images, but with this particular photo, assembling the puzzle was incredibly frustrating because of all the false fits. Pieces that looked like they belonged together actually didn’t, which made an already challenging puzzle even harder.

I’m actually considering having the same photo made into a puzzle by Ravensburger instead, since their pieces are uniquely shaped.

I normally do all my puzzles at least twice, but I’m not sure I want to put myself through this one again. I think I’d have to be at rock bottom mentally for it to feel like fun + my back hurts just thinking about it 😅

Fall season is my favorite and this puzzle is too cute to pass up. 🍂

I just received my first order from Puzzedly. All inspired by ones I’ve seen here lately! I just got back into puzzling since stopping during baby/toddler years. I’d done a handful of yardsale/free library ones and after being disappointed by AI and missing pieces, I decided to treat myself when I found Puzzedly. These look so cozy. Getting started on Spooky Village right now since October is moving fast.

I also completed Haunted Amusement Park, Galison 500 pc in early September. I really loved the tie-in between the first three, very fun. But Autumn by The Sea and Haunted Amusement Park were my favorites!

Lovely art by Annika Leppaaho. First time trying out this brand from Finland.

It reminded me a lot of Ordinary Habit puzzles. Soft-touch pieces and good quality.

There were some false fits in the green section. The rest came together very quickly.

For such a small puzzle it was a little challenging. All the dark tones. It was fun though!

First time doing a puzzle from this company. Great quality, Thu bier pieces, tight fit, a few false fits but that was more on my bad eyes. Minimal dust. When I picked it up a few weeks ago, I thought the glitter parts on the box was decorative, but the pumpkins were actually all glitter! Went back to the store last night to see if they had any more from this company left (they’d had a half dozen others), but it’s Winners, so they have lots of turnover and already had winter/Xmas puzzles out. (I did score a Cobble Hill that I’d had my eyes on at another shop, and it was $10 cheaper!)

I’d def buy from this company again if I saw an image I liked (and it was $15 😉).

High quality puzzle. Comes in four x 250 piece bags so it can be done as a mini puzzle or tradition 1000 pice.

finally finished this puzzle i was gifted for my birthday by my friend/coworker. starting a murder mystery puzzle next!

Fall is my favorite season and I'm a huge fan of pumpkin and apple spice everything.

I worked on this with some family at a recent trip and it was harder than we would have thought. The puzzle image was darker than the box or print out poster and just seemed off. For example, we would be looking for what we thought was a white candle or a beige mug, but really it was more orange or green. It was weird. And the cinnamon rolls were the worst. If we couldn't figure out where the pieces were, they were just relegated to the cinnamon roll section to see if they could work there. I had no idea that I could ever be angry about cinnamon rolls, but I was!

I have completed about 10 puzzles from this brand and have a few in my to do pile. I have found that the brand is very inconsistent - or at least the ones I have done. They usually have matte, soft-feel pieces (but not 100% of the time), though the piece thickness varies. Sometimes the pieces are pretty thin, and other times the pieces are much thicker. This puzzle had thin pieces - thin enough that it was hard to move around connected pieces. 

I picked up this puzzle at a library puzzle swap area and it was marked as missing a piece - but it wasn't! It was a fully complete puzzle, so that was a nice surprise. I am going to bring it back to the library for someone else to enjoy.

Bonus points for the brand because they always have a playlist that you can listen to while working on a puzzle. If you search for a puzzle on their website, they will have a playlist that is associated with the puzzle in some way - super fun!

At first the various patterns seemed daunting until I dove in and realized it was simple. Took about 8 hours as I leisurely worked on it after dinner and during my lunch break. I will be taking it back to the puzzle swap tomorrow for a new one.

Also, hello! I wanted to start cataloging my solved puzzles somewhere. I work in bursts where I'll do 3 or 4 a week for a month or two once a year.

Great quality, good fit and lovely feel. So damn cute. Probably the oddest Halloween puzzle I've done so far -- a witch brushing her teeth in the middle of the woods with a chorus of ghosts singing to her? I don't have that kind of imagination. I love it.

whew! this puzzle was HARD! gorgeous art but this took us over a week to complete. it has all these colors and textures which you'd think would make puzzling easy but my brain just could not comprehend it. i'm proud to have finished this one but i think its going to the swap. may someone with a bigger brain than me find joy in it, lol!

Just completed Lobster Boil, Gourmet Magazine, New York Puzzle Company 1000 pcs and have a leftover piece that, based on it's regular shape, is not part of this puzzle.

This puzzle had the craziest shapes ever. Good challenge, harder than it looked!

¡Qué divertido! Me gustó mucho este puzzle, es mi segundo 2000 piezas y fue un acierto por los colores y zonas. La calidad de la imagen es buenísima, pero es una pena que el encaje de Educa sea tan flojo porque en puzzles grandes complica el montaje cuando hay que trasladar zonas y reestructurarlas
