Color-Challenging So… I’m playing Minecraft right now, and this is the white terracotta block. But to me it looks pink, and my mom says it looks brown… What color do you see?

“What’s weird is looking at it in real life, I 100% see pink, but looking at the image, I see tan. So that’s four different color options now.

Visual Paradoxes Vortex House of Dan Havel and Dean Ruck

Old School Favorite! Dan Havel and Dean Ruck have created a vortex illusion on the exterior of this house that creates a passage way connecting two buildings and into an adjacent courtyard. See link for more photos. Just don't go to the bathroom in the middle of the night!

Motion Illusions The yellow and blue rectangles remain perfectly aligned while moving at a constant speed, though their motion appears stepped due to the surrounding pattern.

Visual Paradoxes Did such an illusion already exist, or did I accidentally create a new one?

The square seems to bend slightly inward. I apologize if something like this already exists.

Distorted Perspective Straight Grid that LOOKS Pillowed

Post image

If you Look at the middle Sections of cubes (the ones that form a 5x5 Plus sign), They actually appear to look slightly pillowed due to the One-Point perspective. The Center square looks larger and the center edges appear squeezed despite them being perfectly parallel. I never intended for this to be an illusion.

*I wasn't sure what flair to use so I picked one I thought was accurate*

If you are curious, I was trying to find a way to convert a standard 5x5 rubik's cube into a 5x5 gear ball/cube by designing 3d printed pieces to place on top.

Visual Aftereffects Your visual system is filling in the blanks here, the bright circle you see isn’t drawn at all. Only eight straight-line rays are present.

A Japanese scientist created the allusion. If it’s not moving then you’re calm, if it’s moving a little you’re stressed but if it’s moving fast then you’re probably having a panic attack.
