Hey everyone, I just saw some Teams in USL League 1 have some really cool nicknames. Corpus Christi are the Sharks, Union Omaha are the Owls, Forward Madison have the Flamingos...heck even Richmond have the Roos...but Triumph are just called The Triumph, which is fine and all, but it's only a matter of time before every team will have cool nickname (I can see Fort Worth being called the Cowboys or something cool like The Ranchers or Straw Boys).

Every League outside of USA have some awesome nicknames for their teams like PSG les Blues in France or Chelsea with The Blues, Arsenal are the Gunners, Aston Villa are The Villans, AC Milan, RossiNerri etc etc.

Here's my 3 cents.

The 3 Peaks- because we have 3 mountains on our Badge/emblem.

The Villans- I believe we are the only USL club within the 3 tiers with "ville" in the name, but correct me if I'm wrong.

The Sweet-Teas- sweet tea was invented in South Carolina lol.

Ideally the nickname would incorporate something with either one of these topics.

1. Our Badge /colors (The Greens/blue/burgundy)

2. Our Name (ville? Triumph?)

3. Our Culture (South Carolina culture/pop culture)

4. Our Stadium (in Bridgeway, lots of brick)

5. Our setting (mountains)

Is Dixon in over his skis? I know it’s early but we’ve seen little to give us hope for the rest of the season. Almost an entirely new roster but they don’t seem to be on the same page.

I am not from the area and unfamiliar with the team but this is a pretty cool ring. Can anyone tell me if it came from the championship they won? I don't know if a fan made a replica or what this is but any insight is greatly appreciated.
