Yesterday i posted a big score off facebook marketplace when i found a lot of Goosebumps books she had when she was a kid! This was every book that was in the bag. (if you wanna go back to that post, it was by “abercrombiejunky” and the photo has “The Ghost Next Door” on the first photo.)

Hey everyone, I was rewatching Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween and it still makes me incredibly mad how they just left R.L. Stine (Jack Black) trapped inside the book. Slappy won, and the story just... stopped. It is so unfair to the fans and to R.L. Stine's amazing legacy that Sony Pictures completely abandoned the movie trilogy just because of box office numbers. A lot of other major franchises get second chances or proper conclusions, so why not Goosebumps? I want to start a movement on Instagram and Twitter/X using the hashtags #FinishGoosebumps3 and #FreeRLStine. We need to flood Sony's official pages with comments and tags until they notice us. Even if they don't want to make a high-budget theater movie, they could easily license it to a streaming platform to give us a proper final movie. Please upvote this, share your thoughts, and let's start making some noise under Sony's social media posts! R.L. Stine deserves to be freed! 🎃📚

I’m completely new to Nightly but am enjoying their song “Bad Dreams” which gives chill spooky vibes. On Instagram they tease a new song with the Goosebumps logo and mention that it features Taylor Lautner of Twilight fame. I’m intrigued!

I remember reading One Day at Horror Land as a kid and being horrified because at the end it turns out that every other person in the park died. And as far as I remember that‘s just the ending - there’s no other resolution or anything.
What are other Goosebumps books that people actually die in? I‘m mostly talking human characters that are alive at the beginning of the story

My son turns 9 this weekend and I can’t wait to see his excitement for these awesome 18x18 prints.

So since it’s Halloween season, I’ve been doing my yearly rewatch, and I’m at the chillogy.
How much would something like the Karlsville town miniature cost if it was real?

A bit of fan art for one of my favorite Series 2000 books Headless Halloween for spooky season! I’m an art hobbyist so i’m not the greatest but i had a lot of fun doing it!

Mr.Wood was a genuine psychological horror threat, the kind of silent, unblinking menace that would make you pull your blankets over your head and stare at your closet door all night.
Slappy, on the other hand, is much more fun to hang out with. Sure, he’s a total menace, but he’s entertaining about it. He’s the kind of villain who would sit at the foot of your bed, crack wise, and insult your movie taste while causing complete chaos. You'd at least get some sharp one-liners out of the deal instead of just pure, chilling dread.
Upset Mr.Wood and another soul will pay for you. Upset Slappy and he'll tell everyone you wear Power Rangers pajamas at 30. Mr.Wood will kill you, Slappy is just an asshole and I love it.

Does anyone know the best way to send fan mail to RL Stine?
Me and my third graders are currently reading Vampire Breath.
I loved RL Stine when I was their age and still have a large collection of his books. I want to encourage the kids to get excited about books and I want to do an activity where, if the author is living), we write the author.

I‘m not necessarily looking for the scariest one, but one with the best dynamic characters, humor and exciting spooky storyline that a 7 or 8 year old child might enjoy. I thought the siblings in Welcome to Camp Slither were pretty fun, wich made the book a nice read despite not being scary.

I found the Goosebumps fabric at the thrift store and loved it. I tried to make his vest look vampire/Gothic.
I traced an existing bucket hat to get the pattern. Digitized the Goosebumps "spat" using Hatch4 and stitched on an old single needle baby lock machine. I used glow in the dark embroidery thread for the splat, but it doesn’t really glow. Maybe because the design and fabric pile. 🫤
I do not sell and only sew for fun.

Honestly more fun than I thought it was going to be. The plot seemed a bit familiar, like a better version of Chicken Chicken.
I did feel bad for the kids because they really didn’t do anything to deserve it, kinda like in Chicken Chicken.
I’m glad they got to spend time as the monsters rather have it be the monster was coming for them.
The family dynamic with the grandfather was really fun and reminded me of my own grandparents. It was interesting to see how they ended the book too. And honestly I thought them being taken to be freak shows would have been where it ended but no, it kept going and they got out.
And the evil witch who turned them into it wasn’t that big of a twist but the candy thing was pretty fun. And then the actual twist was kinda bland…kinda like Chicken Chicken.
But there’s a lot of fun with this book and I think some people are a little hard on it.
Overall, 8/10 I had a good time…unlike Chicken Chicken
