Need a consensus.

i don't know why but it's funny

Hello everyone! I’m doing some research on Gex, more oriented toward powerscaling, and without wanting to bring too much of that world here, I think this could be something curious for a more general audience interested in this character.

I’ve been looking into manuals, concept art, and even the novels, but AS FAR AS I COULD SEE, we don’t have any clues about Gex’s height—and height is sometimes necessary for scaling certain things.

However, I came across his promotional images with Agent Xtra, and we can see that he has a fairly human size, comparable to hers.

Although we could say that, being a promotional image, it might not be faithful to Gex’s actual representation, later we find that in a cutscene from the video game Gex 3, it turns out that Gex actually has quite a human size, and the initial image keeps a certain consistency with what is shown in the cutscene.

With the help of u/Platinumturtleman, who took the trouble to do the pixel-scaling, we get that Gex’s height is possibly around 1.59 m (5′3″) compared to Agent Xtra, whose height is 1.70 m. (5′7″) (The height of Marlice Andrada, who played Xtra role during Gex 3).

So, besides we still lack an official source, I think this is a great shot out of curiosity, if you want to know if you are taller than Gex or not.

So I discovered the OG Gex as a kid. My dad gave me the PS1 version when I was probably....8 or 9? I've since played it on the PS1, PSP and finally in the new trilogy remaster, it really fits in well with my love of Y2K nostalgia. I beat the game for the first time, I'm 33 now. I guess it was about time. Gex will always be my favorite platforming hero.

And yes, I will try to complete the Planet X levels at some point.

Hello!

I like to create prints that bring me back the nostalgia of games that I played when I was younger. I used to sneak into my sister’s room as a child because she had a PS1. I frequently played specifically Gex 3 and wanted to make a print of it! Just sharing it to a community that might appreciate it!

This is a limited edition two-layer color-reduction linocut print based on my favorite costume from a childhood game of mine, Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko. I remember finding this costume by looking at the painting on the wall in the room for the second stage and just thinking it was the coolest thing. Gex doesn't get enough love so I made a print of him!

If you want to see any of my other prints you can find me on Instagram @elijahvanceartworks, and I’ll post my Etsy link below in case you’re interested 😊

Made from pipe cleaners and super glue she's very talented with them! I thought you all would appreciate it as fellow gex lovers pardon my sewing mess

Since Rez always gets reborn with a new body every time he is defeated, I wanted to make him in a new design. This 3D model of mine was made according to concept of my old 2D drawing.

An old work of mine, I wanted to make a remake of Rez Knight from Rez Knight Fever level.

Noise animated inside head

this image is made with al, but it's just a give you a idea

I made my own models based on Gex 3 Deep Cover Gecko related to Tut TV

Gex in Tut TV removed animations from final game

I know he says mecha rez but i cant be the only one hearing something else 😭🙏

ever since i found out about gex, i been thinking about a video game parody movie of gex, it pretty much a parody of the sonic movies and little bit of some of those 90s video game movies like the mario movie, but that is my dream movie one day and probably be better than the other video game movies.

I had to import this to Europa so it was hard to get. This is number #148

Was thinking of getting the Gex Trilogy on Switch at some point. Should I pick up when It gets on Sale at some point?
