To prevent a timer from reaching zero, you must physically leave your office multiple times per night to complete tasks inside the shifting rooms.

• The Golden Rule of the Rooms: The moment you step inside a room to start your tasks, the door slams shut behind you and you are locked in. The door will only unlock once all tasks in that room are 100% completed.
• The Shifting Labyrinth (Procedural Generation): To make the nightmare truly unpredictable, the rooms and most animatronics switch every single night and change completely with every new playthrough! The layouts shift right before your eyes. One night you might face Toy Chica in the FNAF 2 room, but the next night, Toy Freddy or another animatronic will be waiting for you in that exact same spot.

Gregory must sprint across the room, desperately completing complex mechanical tasks and using his Freeze Upgrade to stabilize the zone.
With a final, coordinated strike, Springtrap’s master AI core is shattered, and his body is permanently crushed under the collapsing facility. As the dust settles, a crying sound echoes from a hidden wall. Gregory and Freddy smash open a secret containment room. Inside, trembling but alive, they find the real Cassie! Reunited at last, Gregory and Cassie walk out of the facility together, stepping into the morning light of a world finally free from the curse of Afton.

Fnaf 4: the bite of 83 had happened, and William afton had rage about Micheal afton. So he decided to take the most sadistic revenge possible by Murdering Gabriel,Jeremy,Susie,Fritz and Cassidy and stuffing them into animatronics and injecting them with remnant.

So he had made Nightmare freddy(Gabriel), Nightmare bonnie(Jeremy),Nightmare Chica(susie),Nightmare foxy(Fritz) and nightmare Fredbear(he stuffed cassidy into fredbear actually and injected her with remnant too).

So William programmed the animatronics to attack micheal and killl him.So Micheal had been suffering from these nightmares when crying child was dying in the hospital, so when crying child had died his fredbear plush said he would put him back together, so that moment his soul had been fused with fredbear plush turning crying child into nightmare and then Nightmare taking revenge against Micheal afton(Crying child was no ordinary soul he was a spirit filled with rage).

Fnaf 2: The Nightmare anamatronics decided to leave micheal and possess the Unwithered anamatronics, In fact nightmare had become Shadow freddy and cassidy being Unwithered golden freddy, in fact they became withered by rotting in their places and were inactive at the time until the new secuirity gaurd had come, and there were total 6 souls who went onto possess Toy freddy,bonnie,chica,mangle,JJ and balloon boy.

To me yes it fucking needs one because realistically the lore storyline it fucking mess and no it not easy to understand and no Scott cawthon wasn't a genius writer the guy was making shit on the spot the reality is the lore we even have or figure out is actually just fan theories head canon and theory crafted ideas that try to make the sense of everything if you going to say the books are canon NO THE FUCK THERE AREN'T Scott have say it before and say it again there are SOFT CANON the idea and concept are canon but the storyline and characters are different you point of view of this mess?

So a while ago I decided to make a visual novel called Five Dates With Freddy's. I have found an artist that I'm going to commission for the character sprites and I am trying to gather inspiration for what I want the main Freddy's outfits to be. I have a very basic style and I have no idea what men wear without making them all look the same. Let me know if you have any ideas about what the characters styles would be, a list will be provided. A bit ago i began a passion project of making my own Fnaf Fangame by the name of PK's Resort. I've been working on it since but have come up short with motivation to get it done quickly. I think it's mainly because it's buried within Gamejolt and the only followers are bots.

I was going to head to Amino to ask for suggestions, untill I realised it shut down last year. Which leads me to the friendly neighbourhood of reddit!

I've been designing the interiors and exteriors slowly, but it still feels empty, I've switched artstyles twice and although it looks better, it's still missing finer decor. For context the main setting is like a 90's Redwood Hotel.

I'm hoping that by making this post I will get off my booty and finish making this game through the motivation of mabye 3 or 4 people actually knowing about it.

What happens if you have Bonnie at the left door, the light is on, and you’re in basically a stare down with him? You can’t get jumpscared by him until you flip the camera down, but what about Foxy? If you never open the camera in this hypothetical stare down with the light on, Foxy should be well on his way. But can he jumpscare you if Bonnie’s sprite is in the way?

I want to share a glimpse of the mechanics and atmosphere I designed for a 1st-person, hyper-realistic reimagining of the original games, called "AFTON". Here is how the gameplay loops without spoiling the major narrative secrets: • Physical Presence (Outlast/RE7 Style): You play in a gritty, 1st-person view where your full body, uniform, and legs are visible. Michael Afton is human: he heavy-breathes, swears in frustration, and his hands physically shake on screen due to an Adrenaline System, making it harder to aim under pressure. Your shadow dynamically projects onto crumbling walls and flickering CRT TVs. • The Dark Office & The 2-Drawer Mechanic: There are no ceiling lights or wall switches. You depend entirely on a heavy, manual 80s flashlight. To swap its dying batteries, you must physically pull open the drawers under your desk. The battery randomly spawns in either the Left or Right drawer every night, turning a simple reload into a 50/50 split-second panic decision. • Deteriorating Steel Doors: The safety doors are heavy steel. They slam down via gravity and lift slowly with a struggling, smoking electric motor. As the nights progress, the doors accumulate permanent dents, scratches, and structural damage from the animatronics' blunt force. By the final nights, the mechanism is so warped that the doors might jam, forcing you to look at the dark hallways. • The 4 Books: The game is structured into 4 distinct Books, covering different eras, from the decaying 1993 layout to the open, doorless mechanics of 1987 (where a single, loud strobe flash on your control panel is your only shield against the dark), all the way back to where the very first sins of the Afton family were committed.

A year two so ago I found out about these videos where people animate fnaf animatronics beating the living daylights out of each other. I have no idea why these videos exist but me and my friends find them absolutely hilarious. There's one problem though, the greatest of all of these videos we cannot seem to find anymore.

I haven't seen it in a while so my memory of it is a bit foggy, but I know it exists. I'll describe as much of it as I can.

I don't remember what the other team is, but one of the teams is just completely made up animatronics, the only one I can remember being a massive buff version of toy bonnie wearing a suit I believe. Throughout the video, this Bonnie variation (that me and my friends have nicknamed Business Bonnie) seems absolutely unstoppable and performs some ridiculously powerful feats. Breaking through walls, moving at absurd speeds, etc.

No combination of words I look up have returned me this video. I've watched so many compilations of these videos hoping that this one might be in there somewhere but to no avail. I'm perfectly aware that it's unlikely I'll find anyone interested in looking for this admittedly childish video but I've exhausted all my other options and would really appreciate it if somehow someone in here knew the video I was talking about. Even if you just know the name or creator of the Bonnie version described would be a huge help.

i also want to say that just becuase william afton is likely gone for good does not mean cassidy or any other character is gone too it could very well be that they are now trying to stop the mimic from continuing what afton did so that is a plus anyways thanks for reading i really appreciate it

I was replaying it and I’ve just noticed when you get to the point where you’re at the big screen where it says Freddie and friends on tour, there’s like faint writing that says Jeremy I’m not that caught up on Fnaf law but can somebody tell me what this might mean?

I want to see how many characters I can fit from FNAF 1 - SotM which also includes Charlie Book Trilogy, CoD DLC, FNAF AR, Fazbear Frights/ItP Game, and try to use 50 character slots, if you can fit more characters on a single screen without having to use a scrolling nor another menu then pls let me know, btw, this will be used for a UCN fan game, if you want, leave mechanics for each slot and can group animatronics like Puppet Crew from SotM, okay?

I’m trying to come up with some and I don’t want to use or at least try not to use AI Chatbots and I need lines for Mangle since I want to hire someone to do Mangle’s voice lines

What I really want to know are all the changes and retcons the lore has gone through, because it's obvious that:

FNAF 1 was a standalone story that wasn't meant to have further context, which means things like 1987 and Golden Freddy could have originally had different meanings.

FNAF 2 and FNAF 3 were supposed to be the final two games meant to tell the lore of FNAF, ending everything right there, so up to this point there would be another story altogether (adding that many of the FNaF 2 Easter eggs, especially Shadow Bonnie and Shadow Freddy, likely didn't have any deep meaning and were simply there to be Easter eggs; after all, they didn't make any significant appearances in the first six games beyond FNaF 2)

FNAF 4 expanded the story even further instead of satisfactorily answering or clearing up many of the events from the previous games.

FNAF Sister Location connects with FNAF 4, but there's a theory (yes, a theory, I'm not stating this as fact) floating around that Sister Location wasn't originally intended to be part of the main storyline, but rather a spin-off that was later retconned into the canon after an update added extra lore content.

FNAF Pizzeria Simulator concludes the classic storyline.

So right there, FNAF already had several canons that were shifted over time. The games from FNAF AR onwards do seem to have a story that was planned from the start—that is, assuming Glitchtrap and Burntrap were always meant to be The Mimic and wasn't a last-minute change just to get rid of William Afton once and for all.
