I feel a need to create and make something. I don't enjoy the average kind of 9-5 away from everything I feel I should have a connection with and have more of a work for someone else lifestyle. I am sure others feel this but I feel this on a very deep and repulsive level. Just looking to connect with others who feel they have skills but are unsure of what to do with them.

About five years ago, they made a post on r/LongLostGamers looking for an old Minecraft friend named ahmedsaifkw, who had previously gone by EliteVulcan, VelocityPhalanx, and Cydoemus:

ahmedsaifkw is a friend of mine, and I came across that old post while trying to reconnect with Axile28.

It looks like u/Axile28’s Reddit account is no longer available, and I haven’t been able to find a confirmed new Reddit account or another public social profile belonging to them.

I’ve already tried / am planning to try r/LongLostGamers and r/LettersForLostFriends, but I’m wondering if there are any other subreddits specifically for:

- reconnecting with old online friends

- finding someone from an old gaming community

- locating a former Reddit user’s new public account

- Minecraft / old server community reunions

I’m not looking for private information, their real identity, address, or anything invasive. I’m only trying to find a current public username/account, or somewhere I could leave a message that they might eventually see.

What subreddits would be best for this?

Not really sure what I’m doing on Reddit😂 I just downloaded and can’t really do anything. Where should I go and what should I do here? Joined a few communities but how do I find active ones where people are actually engaging?
Anyways any suggestions for interesting or fun?

New to reddit trying to find good nail polish communities and subreddits

I have a nice T-shirt that displays 24 logos of various Sci-Fi fandoms (TV shows or movies, mostly), some very famous and easy to recognize (Stargate, Star Trek), some more obscure ones (cosmocat, Firefly with "serenity" written in chinese, Farscape, Fringe), and a few that I still cannot identify. I'd like to request the nerds of reddit for their help finding out the ones I'm missing.

But, being somewhat new around here, I'm having trouble finding the correct place to post such a request. r/AskReddit looks like it has so many rules which I think are too restrictive for what I'd need, r/tipofmytongue seemed like the best place for this, but I apparently cannot post an image. Should I just do it there anyway and post my image in the first comment?
