Made this centipede design I would like to eventually paint or bleach on a jacket but I can't decide what colours would suit the piece. If you have any ideas or suggestions please do tell.

I tried lightening my 100% cotton jeans with a diluted bleach bath, but they ended up super blotchy because they were bunched up in a container that was too small. I was aiming for a pretty uniform, vintage light-blue denim wash. Now Iāve got these dark blue patches all over. Whatās the best way to lighten the remaining dark blue spots and even out the color? I was thinking of dabbing diluted bleach onto the darker areas with a sponge, but Iām nervous about making it worse. Eventually, I want to do a subtle brown overdye for that dirty, vintage look, but first I just want the blue as even as possible. Any advice from people whoāve actually managed to fix something like this?

I'm trying to recreate these glitter jeans at home, but I'm not really sure where to start. I'd love some advice on what materials and techniques I could use to get as close to the original as possible.
Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello everybody!
My favourite coat has been starting to show some very concerning signs of decay and I want to do my best to repair it before it is too late.
This coat is a good decade old at this point. It is made of alpaca wool and has only received surface level repairs so far, such as resewing buttons and redoing the stitching on the ends of the sleeves but I fear more drastic measures are in need here now.
I have little experience with clothing repair and have only ever done relatively simple hand stitching before but I really want to do my best to maintain this garment, however I am a bit out of my depth here and don't know what best to do and where to look to educate myself.
I'm thinking it may even be a good idea to reinforce certain parts of the coat with leather or similar to prevent it from fast decay in the future, such as by the shoulders, the elbows and the ends of the sleeves, but information about when and how to do this isn't easy to find.
Can you guys point me in the right direction in terms of what needs to be done and resources for me to look into?
Thank you!
Here are some pictures of the current state of the coat:

I like the colors and patterns but the fabric paint I used just looks cheap and I don't like the texture. I know I can't take the paint off entirely but is there a way to get enough off so the fabric isn't so plastic-y?
I'm thinking about sewing on fabric patches to cover the painted areas, or using fabric tape and then sewing/embroidering around the edges so they don't peel off.
Anyone have other suggestions?

Hello!
A while ago I got this vintage cotton Ralph Lauren
shirt at a clothing swap and unfortunately only wore it for a day before getting a big bleach spot on it at work. I found some denim blue RIT dye but Iāve never used dye before. Would it be best to spot treat this shirt with the dye and hope it matches, or should I bleach the whole shirt and re-dye the whole shirt after? One aspect that makes me nervous about potentially bleaching the shirt is that the fibers definitely feel like theyāve gotten weaker overtime and I donāt want to shorten its lifespan too much in the process.

Hi! New here! I have a couple 100% cotton, worn out, band tees that I want to upcycle the logo onto other shirts. The only issue is that the shirts I have currently are spandex and nylon. Whatās the easiest way to diy! I donāt mind gluing or hand stitching, that would be ideal I just donāt know the best stitch. Anything helps!!!!!

Hi! I have several silicone wristbands with raised lettering, and theyāre too big for my wrist. Theyāre all closed loops, so I canāt simply adjust them.
Would using hot water or heat make them smaller, or would it damage the silicone or the lettering? Has anyone found a way to make these wristbands fit a smaller wrist without cutting them?
Iād really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

I bought these corteiz sweatpants off vinted and they came out a bit big. Is there any way to shrink them without cutting them or sowing them? I've been seeing people online saying that putting them into hot water and drying on high heat or something on the lines of that, makes them shrink. My sweatpants are 100% cotton aswell. Is that true? If it is would it ruin the print on the middle?
I am more concerned about the length then the width, but if it was a little less baggy I would like that aswell.
Right now they kind of flare out on the bottom (as shown on the photo) and that's what I hate the most.
I have a pair of sweatpants I like the fit of would it be realistic to get close to even hear the size of that

Sorry if this isnāt the correct sub, and please point me to the correct one!
The algorithm got me and advertised a site called āThe Pin Theoryā.
The idea was instead of belts, a newer way to salvage pants/dresses that are too big to still wear them is using two pins that clip together and cinches the waistband.
Has anyone use them/are they quality?
I searched the sub and saw some people maybe using this fix on their own DIY, but Iām not that crafty so Iād love if this was a way I could work on re-using clothes with minimal sewing ability.
